It's too bad he was actually playing well. Next man up. Who will it be?

Please fix this NBA.

Aaaaaaaahhhhh!! I didn't watch the whole game, so I didn't see this. Going back to Abe's comments on Kawhi, you'd never see him try to pull this B.S. That ref deserves to be blasted for making that call. Total B.S.

The good news is that in the limited games I've watched, these calls are fewer and farther between. I've seen Harden flop around a few times and NOT get the call, so there is some progress. But this is a set-back for those of us in the anti-Harden/anti-foul bait camp!

I believe Harden has been "fouled" 13 times on three pointers in the playoffs. So it's basically 2x per game.

Lou Williams is next on the flop list with 5... in limited minutes.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Zach Lowe was saying Lou Williams is so much less effective in the playoffs historically because all of his gimmicks and foul-baiting/flopping aren't fooling officials at that point.

Maybe the officials haven't got the memo yet?

There's a whole new generation of officials now it seems too. I think just 3 or 4 years ago it was still the old guard and you could recognize at least two of the officials in each major game. Now I don't know any of them. Good thing I don't gamble anymore.

I can't believe I"m saying this but I'm looking foward to the Wizards vs Celtics more than any other 2nd round matchup at this point. Not only might it be the closest matchup but that was the scrappiest game 2 I have seen in a long time. I can't wait to see how feisty it gets from game 5 on, these teams really don't like each other!

I watched all of game two and Parker looked like a Parker we had seen at 27/28 years old for stretches, for 6+ plays a quarter.. It's terrible for this to happen, but I ultimately think the spurs will be better off giving the minutes to Mills, and testing their other players as ball handlers. I don't expect the Spurs to win this year (not many did), but i do believe this will actually help guide them for their future around Kawhi.

For Bloop's comments I will say this, Celtics and Wizards intrigue me, but there is something about the anomaly of the Rockets and the defiance of the Spurs that makes that the best round 2 matchup for me.

Maybe it's that I feel the Spurs/Sockets actually have a chance of pressing the Warriors, where as I see nobody coming close to the Cavs in the east? Either way, I love watching the Spurs whole team and Anderson, Gordon, and Beverley on the Rockets. Harden adding in the controversy doesn't hurt the interest either.

I started watching just a few minutes before that happened. The Celtics missed a good opportunity to get back in the game. Olynyk made only 1 FT and then they missed their next 2 shots I believe. There is still a whole half so they could come back but it would be more likely if they had at least got it under 20.

Love it! Spurs holding Houston to under 40 points in a half! Unreal.

Couple adjustments Pop made since game 1:

1 - he's guarding Ryan Anderson with a wing, either Green or Manu. It's something I was advocating back when that dude was torching us because Dieng or KAT could never recover back to him on pick and pops with Harden. Now they can just switch it. Anderson is 0-1 in the first half as they have given up on him being the screener.

2 - he inserted Pau into the starting lineup, who pretty much just plants himself under the hoop and dares guys to pull up from mid-range or hit their floaters. These are shots Houston doesn't like in general because they are 'tweener shots and not at the rim or 3s.

Also, Harden has drawn no cheap fouls and in fact got called for an offensive foul after trying to draw contact on a contested 3 by Pau. Love it!

One thing I will say about Houston. Those guys are defending really well. This is a different team from a couple of years ago when Harden was indifferent defensively and they were generally a sloppy, undisciplined team.

Spurs just killing Houston inside. I know it's old but live by the three die by the three. There is no way the Spurs should be dominating this way with so many turnovers.
