Kek,you and Cam aren't victims. Quite the contrary. I wish I could put you and Cam on ignore most of the time as you two think your opinions are the only valid ones and you two think that constantly repeating yourself ad nauseum makes it more so. I am certainly not perfect nor do I claim to be, but before being judgmental consider your own condescending, passive-aggressive, annoying bullshit.
By your own admission you said you posted something 8 million times, and most people would think that conduct is reflective of someone with OCD. To state that my suggesting you see a shrink is an attack on people dealing with mental health issues is so far from the truth that it is ridiculous.

To settle this matter...
I did a recount... and kekgeek only wrote it 6,789,257 times. So not even close to 8M.
Issue resolved. You're welcome everybody.

1. If you truly felt like ignoring myself and/or any other person on this forum, you would simply do so. Also, that comment doesn't add up with how consistently you seem to search out my comments and make the same silly insult on the back end -- your go-to for a while was something similar to: "Ryan says go fuck yourself!" I fail to see how that ever added anything constructive to a discussion.
2. Most of us repeat ourselves on this forum, especially when we're emphasizing or reiterating a point that we've been making over time. I could list repetitive points for each personality on here -- and that's perfectly okay. You are no different. Examples of your repetitiveness include your infatuation with Monte Morris, your disliking of D'Angelo Russell and Tom Thibodeau, and your [incorrect] thoughts of cap space being available in the near future.
None of us here are perfect or even right 100-percent of the time, but what has been a staple of this board is mutual respect between damn near everyone. Granted, things have gotten heated from time to time, but the "fuck you" comments haven't been an issue for the most part. I can only speak for myself when I say that I'd like for it to stay that way and if someone wants to make comments like that I'd ask that they simply leave to find a different forum to participate in.

Re: Around the NBA
Maybe if someone else states the cap space situation it will stick. If we renounce every bit of cap space we can this offseason we will have less than $10 million in cap space not including our high draft pick (So under 5 million). And that is running an even worse version of what we are rolling out this year. The year after we would have about 20 million in cap space again with basically what we have now with another high pick. Not enough to sign a max player. And that's throwing away 2 years of KAT's prime to finally have max cap space in 2022-2023 to sign a difference maker. And if you miss you have a complete skeleton crew to fill in just as Towns is getting ready to ask out if he hasn't already at that point. What superstar is coming to a back to back to back lottery team in the prime of years of their best players surrounded by a completely gutted roster?

We dont have pure capspace to pusue free agents, but we do have big salary ballasts for a trade.; ie teague and dieng.

You teed this up pretty well but the cap situation is even more dire this offseason than you suggested. I started a new sheet in my Wolves salaries spreadsheet. A couple reminders...
1. Cole Adrich still counts for just over $685,000 one next year's cap. Its not a ton of money but it all adds up.
2. You have to have a roster charge up to either 13 or 14 roster spots filled so that's around 1.5 million next year. So basically there is no reason to cut anyone like Reid KBD Nowell etc unless you don't actually want them around. That seems unlikely. The only way to get cheaper roster spots is to sign more undrafted/2nd round/ rookies.
So I used Basketball insider for my numbers including cap calculations for next season. I took RealGM's projections for the vet min next year into my speadsheet but really its not going to be drastically different. They also have a projection for the draft rookie scale also.
So right now with just 13 roster spots I'm at almost 111 million and the cap is supped to be about 116 million. Maybe we can save some money with signing a couple rookies...and so we could stay at around 110 million. 6 million in cap space...yay!!! Also worth remembering that the mid-level exception is used if you are over the cap...so the Wolves would have less spending power under the cap unless they make some sort of move (Dieng or Covington) than if they were over the cap. Oh...and then there is that high draft pick...yep there goes the cap space its basically nothing. Draft picks are going to be expensive espcially if you pick high...which in some ways we have to hope for...probably at least this year. The Wolves next offseason may as well keep guys like Graham and Napier or Vonleh's cap holds since they could resign them with bird rights (probably for not a ton more money...) if they wanted to and stay over the cap.
Here is the deal with DeAngelo Russell...If you don't think he is worth the money and or whatever it would require to add him to the roster that's good enough reasoning for me. This team is unlikely to have much more functional space for quite a while unless some pretty drastic moves are made which aren't really worth forecasting IMHO. Will he cost more than not having him? Sure but to me what it comes dow to is whether you believe in his talent. If you do he is worth the money and what it would take to get him. IF you don't it isn't. I'm on the fence about him to be honest but its easy to not really spend much time thinking about it because I still think GS will ask alot for him and I'm not really ready to do all that...now. ask me in a few months or maybe even a few weeks and maybe something will be different. I still think GS will look to move him more in the offseason if they get the right offer or something happens on their roster to change their mind...like their likely draft pick.

Bumping this thread. Anyone else impressed with okc? They dumped a lot of players, collected about 5 more high draft picks and are in 6th place.
