Who wins the championship
Re: Who wins the championship
Q -- I think you nailed it. It's about going with your 5, 6 or 7 best players and staying with them. Getting caught up trying to match the opposing team's size is a prescription for failure. You can win small, win going big and win with everything in between. It's about talent and production. And as Thibs has said repeatedly, it's about going with your strengths.

A re-match of Golden State and Cleveland (if Golden State can get past OKC) would be a beautiful thing because right now Cleveland is out Golden State-ing Golden State! They have been an absolute terror offensively and their defense has been solid too.
Just some incredibly talented teams playing right now.

I agree. Tonight's game restored my confidence in the Warriors.

Ok, help me out here. So you're team X playing team Y, and you are mismatched at all 5 spots. Rather then trying something (some would say anything) to create a mismatch or multiple mismatches to win the game, you should pack it in?
TOR has not path to victory playing how they played the season. They have EVEN LESS if they think they can play Lowry/Derozan 36 mpg and rest them 12 mpg. It is time to "pull out all the stops" if you are TOR. It probably won't work, but can it really be worse?
Re: Who wins the championship
Well the Raptors got a game and Biyambo making himself some serious paper for this offseason. 26 rebounds and 4 Blocks? Not a bad days work.
Also there were a couple people on this board that were in on signing Cory Joseph last offseason that probably should give themselves a pat on the back. He got a healthy chunk of money to go home but that's looking like a pretty smart move right now especially how he has been playing in the playoffs. He turns 25 in August.

Re: Who wins the championship
I would have liked that Wolves would have signed Joseph last summer until I heard how big contract he got from Toronto. Thought that he was too expensive but It looks like he is well worth the money he got.
Biyombo is going to get pretty nice contract this summer. I wouldn't even be surprised if Toronto would consider trading Valenciunas for upgrade in power forward position and they would keep Biyombo as their starting center.

Biyombo had a great game last night, but I wouldn't take that too far. Let's see how he does the next game. Trading Venciunas would be a mistake. He was huge for the Raptors this past season.

I can't be the only one who is annoyed by Draymond Green, right?

I can't believe it. NBA favoritism has hit a new low.

He's not the brightest bulb in the tanning bed.
