Kat and DR were down 16 now have tied it. This is such a huge game because Italy upset Serbia
Because DR has had every game be close, it's put DR in a weird spot in terms of tiebreak, so this game is for all intents and purposes an elimination game for DR.
You know more than me, does the previous round games against phil and Angola count for pt differential in this group?
Also if they do lose this game they would be in a legit elimination game against Serbia
1. all the previous records and stats carry over. In this pool you're only playing the other two teams you didn't see.
2. if DR loses, they'd be basically at the bottom of the pool even though everyone would be 3-1 because of our tiebreaks (for now). If they win, a PR victory against Italy would make the DR/Serbia game just a matter of seeding for DR and an elimination game for Serbia. It's still important because if DR wins the pool, they avoid USA in the quarters.

KAT is imposing his will in the paint now
29/7 through 3
EDIT: Tremont Waters with 26 on 6 threes is why PR is only down 5.

29 points through three quarters. Probably just as important (at least to me) is the fact he has only one foul and zero turnovers. Impressive performance so far. We'll see if he can help close this out in the 4th.....

3 fouls on KAT, 7:06 to go. Only the 2nd one was a dumb foul.
