We need to fire Connelly though. The Gobert deal alone is a fireable offense. This deal is just grasping at straws. The Gobert deal screwed this franchise for years to come.

then it gets tilted too much towards guards and we become a relatively small team again.
Somehow, Nowell or NAW would have to get moved for a big making nothing. Best I can think of is Nowell to Charlotte for Nick Richards to balance things out.

I'm guessing it will be Nowell and the three 2nd round picks we just received in the DLO deal for Bones.

Not a good trade, but not that meaningful either. We were not going to win this year and re-signing DLo for a big contract would have been a mistake so trading DLo for Conley is maybe the difference between getting knocked out in the play-in game or round 1 (who cares as we don't have a first round pick). May be good to move Ant to point and adjust around that (not that we did that with this trade). Minott scoring in the 1st quarter is a nice sign!
