In terms of Iggy v. Curry for team MVP to this point I think Iggy has played really well, but their offensive success has come from the threat of Curry demanding traps forcing him to pass off to the screen setter who then has been making the right play (since Lee was inserted into the lineup) which has benefited Iggy and others offensively getting wide open looks. Those open shots are coming from Curry demanding two defenders and forcing hard defensive rotations leaving guys like Iggy wide open on the 3pt line when that roll man attacks the defense. I can see the case for Iggy, but I also see that Curry is demanding a lot of attention that has opened up the offense when the right plays are made by the roll man. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit, but the threat of Curry really opens up the offense for everyone else especially when they play 5 guy small ball with shooters all over the perimeter. Maybe Iggy gets it for his defensive effort on Lebron, but I think offensively Steph is just warping the Cleveland defense and still playing pretty well with all that extra attention.
