Personally I don't think most of those guys are particularly good at breaking down the game except Kenny Smith. I also turned of the sound so I didn't have to listen to Chris Webber contradict himself all night. But that's just me.
Towns not getting the ball more is a shame. But he should be more aggressive and his d on capela to start the game was horrible. Too much iso. Im glad the national guys are calling thibs out on our poor offense. We score because we have natural scorers but the offense sucks and a better offense could create more efficient shots for the team and make things easier for our players.
Rose came to play and is always playing with enegy. Love that from him
We got to make adjustments the rest of the series. As lip mentioned, we could have stolen this game but the rockets will only play better and wont miss as many 3's as they did tonight. Webber make the comment that the miss 3's are not a result of our defense and that is true.
Almost to a man every commentator talks about how poorly we are coached. This actually gives me some hope. Maybe this group could win big if we had the right guy at the helm and made a couple roster tweeks. Maybe we really aren't that far away. All these guys can't be wrong.

I agree. Even before the game, Q was saying that Taj rather than KAT should guard Capela. That move alone might have gotten us the win. Not getting the ball to KAT is obviously attributable to the head coach since it's been happening all season.

Chuck is always entertaining. But he's also pretty smart.
I love Chuck, and even though he's dogmatic I think he makes great points about how to counter styles in the 3pt era. It's really hard to know with this team how much is what Towns is comfortable with and how much is system. I've never liked where Towns was catching the ball most of the time even with Mitchell. He's got to be down low even with his great shot, he's just too good offensively to not be our primary focus.

I haven't read the thread. Kat needs to take some blame. He was absolutely terrible in the first half. I think he may of been on a combination of alcohol and Xanax. It's a common theme tho, our offense despite what the numbers say sucks. Zero moment or creataticity. Rose was making some stuff happen. Can we please pass the ball head on the break!!!
I think the reason why they quit going to KAT down low was they were doubling him every time. But they should be able to move the ball out of it and get an open 3 then. But they just don't seem to gel well enough to do that very often. The only way you get better at it is keep doing it.

That's my thinking, Cool. You can disagree with Kenny, Charles or Shaq on any number of things, but it should get your attention when they all agree so emphatically. Note that Chris Weber was voicing the exact same criticisms of our offense during the game and he noted that a lot of former players have been saying the same things all season about the Wolves.
Haters gonna hate I guess. Meanwhile this team most people gave no shot at even being competitive was all night and had a chance to take the championship favorite to overtime in their building in game 1. Fire Thibs!
