I like LaVine, if we had another pick in the draft, he is so much of a risk

Totally agree, I wouldn't mind taking LaVine at all if we had another pick. LaVine is a couple years away at best from making an impact.

I'm probably one of his biggest fans, I think he has Westbrook potential, but he also could be a huge bust. Sometimes you have to risk it to get the biscuit though. [left]

I don't think we go Lavine, just because he is probably the player furthest from contributing right away in the draft class IMO. Also the fact that he didn't even start gives me reason for pause

Other than being about as heavy as a wet dishrag Levine's got what you want physically for a SG. I'm torn on him a little but I feel the same way others do. I'd rather pick him later. On the other hand he was a freshman didn't suck and probably will add some weight to that frame. The biggest issue to me is it sounds like he was a pathetic defender last year.

It seemed like there was some reports about the Wolves liking Levine a few months ago so maybe there is something to this report although Flip seems to keep things pretty quiet which I like. I really wish we could trade down and get 2 later picks because I don't know if there is going to be a guy I'm really sold on at #13 compared to who we could get if we stay put. You never know who might drop or what group of guys gets taken higher than expected.

If he's the only guy at 13 Flip believes has starter/star potential, you take him. Rookies don't do squat to make teams better. Get the guy you think will be the best player with a couple years under his belt. We are a team deep in veteran role players. The last thing we need is a rookie role player if that is his ceiling. Get someone who, given time to develop, will be better than those role players in a couple years. Guys like George and Leonard took years to develop and now they are some of the better players in their draft classes.

Neither did Westbrook if I am correct, not saying he is Westbrook though

About to watch some more full games of Rodney Hood. I think he's in play at 13. Multiple workouts for us I believe.

I'm not inclined to believe any reports we read at this point.
