Not with Gasol going to the Bulls...they don't really need Love now.
Cam's guy Berrios takes the mound in 2 hours, jester...I'm pumped!
AA?
Sorry about the baseball diversion on the T-wolves board, but Twins prospect Berrios starts for the World team against the US team today in the Futures Stars game...quite an honor.

This could be posted in the FA thread, but with Miami retaining Bosh/Wade and adding Deng, Chicago adding Gasol, Carmelo staying in the East, and Pierce going to the Wizards (a move I really liked), the Cavs trading for Love seems even MORE obvious because the East is actually starting to get a tad stronger.
Lebron is the best player on the planet, but I just do not see that roster making the finals next year. It really boggles my mind that this deal HASN'T happened yet, as it is literally a perfect marriage for both teams.

Agreed, most NBA "insiders" and anaylsts agree that this move makes too much sense not to happen. I really wonder if Flip is just trying to pry and extra piece from the Cavs and their not budging. Honestly I'd just be happy with Wiggins+Bennett+whatever it takes to match salary.
Hopefully this happens soon! I'm getting really sick of checking Twitter every 10 minutes

Plus there always the threat Love could get dealt to a middle of the pack team in the East that makes it an even tougher road for the Cavs or even a dark horse team like the Pacers.

What a concept! A trade that actually helps both teams. I don't think the Cavs get it.

I am beginning to think that the big minds in Cleveland think they have Lebron 2 in Wiggins and will not include him, or at least think they can wait this out. Same with GS. I am pretty much resigned to Love beginning the season as a Twolf

I think a lot of the reason Wiggins isn't being included right now is because the Cavs think the Wolves are in a buyers market with Love and that they don't have anyone "clearly" outbidding them currently. What I think they're overlooking is that Flip can, and likely will, hold on to Love if he doesn't get a legitimate piece in return, which means Wiggins. I think Flip waits till the trade deadline if he doesn't get what he wants, and if he doesn't get what he wants at that point, he'll just hold onto Love and see what happens in FA next year.
Bosh scoffed at the notion of joining LeBron the last FA go around, and even if the Cavs do clear the cap space, I think at best the Cavs have a 33% chance to land Love next offseason.

Hockey - I honestly think the Cavs will never give up Wiggins for Love. I'm surprised at that and think the Cavs' position is insane, but the recent emphatic statement by Blatz confirmed for me that they're not posturing. I suspect that LeBron said he would rather play with and mentor Wiggins, Waiters and Thompson than give those guys up to get Love. It could be that LeBron doesn't like Love personally, in which case he'd be no different than a lot of Wolves players. It could be that LeBron would simply prefer to mentor a bunch of young guys. That was the spirit of his letter. Without Love, LeBron will have less pressure to win a title. And if he eventually wins now down the road with all these young guys he will have added another impressive chapter to his legacy.

Saw this posted on the Realgm board sort of applies to the Blatt comments except Johnson didn't say it publicly
