That would be the logical next move, Cool. Naz for Bones?

then it gets tilted too much towards guards and we become a relatively small team again.

Somehow, Nowell or NAW would have to get moved for a big making nothing. Best I can think of is Nowell to Charlotte for Nick Richards to balance things out.

I'm guessing it will be Nowell and the three 2nd round picks we just received in the DLO deal for Bones.

Do you actually support that trade Lip? Bones is better at offense but likely worse on defense. I'm flabbergasted at TC's game of checkers!

A couple things.

1. The return for the Jazz for Vanderbilt and Beasley was a first round pick but they also gave up some future 2nds and dumped some salary. It's something but not that exciting. The Lakers did well to get 3 worthwhile players for only one 1st round pick.

2. Three 2nds doesn't sound wildly valuable but it's Tim Connelly making those picks or using those picks to trade up for picks. He has a track record of finding players in the 2nd round.

3. Alexander-Walker actually was a fairly high volume 3 point shooter till this year where he is taking fewer and is really efficient overall. Did he break through and is he a solid guy now? Idk but he might actually be a decent player to get back. Someone mentioned some good defensive metrics. If he is an even average defender he could be an upgrade for this team. He has some nice length for a guy that has some numbers of being more than just a guy that just shoots.

4. We will probably hear something about the conversations on an extension and the money Russell wanted. Maybe both sides decided it was time to move on. It will be interesting to hear something

5. Conley's contract being used as a trade has some flexibility in it. He is only guaranteed 14 million next season so he could be traded for 14 million or could be guaranteed the 24 million and be dealt. It seems more likely he would be dealt at the higher number but it's nice to have another option however unlikely.

Bryn Forbes will be cut or traded. If there are no other moves. I'll be a little surprised if it's not him.

PF/C's we can match in a deal for Nowell

Atlanta- Frank Kaminsky
Boston- Luke Kornet
Brooklyn- Day'Ron Sharpe
Charlotte- Nick Richards
Chicago- Marko Simonovic, Tony Bradley
Cleveland- Robin Lopez
Memphis- Xavier Tillman
New Orleans- Willy Hernangomez
Philadelphia- Paul Reed, Montrezl Harrell (if we threw in Forbes)
Portland- Drew Eubanks, Greg Brown
Sacramento- Chimezie Metu
San Antonio- Isaiah Roby

I'm not dealing 3 2's for Bones.

Somehow that's not the worst player he'd acquire with 3 2nd's. That would be Moore.

Outside of Nick Richard's, who do you like? Metu wrecked our world last time we played them

Truthfully, none of these guys blow me away, but out of this pool, I'd prefer Tillman even though I doubt Memphis does it.

Realistically, Kaminsky might be the most realistic return (and you hope Atlanta throws in a 2nd)

Cam, now that your man crush is gone, will you go the route of Team Ricky and spend time on the Lakers board?
