Wolfson reports Martin is hopeful about a 2-way deal but there hasn't been any dialogue yet. There have to be a bunch of worthwhile guys they could sign with that spot. If I was them I would take the best player available but I would also be looking at trying to add a ball handling guard with that other 2-way deal.

Hes got skills, but lacks any kind of toughness and motor.
I was hoping for him to turn into a harrell type, but i think hes going into more of a greg Monroe type with less rebounding.
Agreed, especially with KAT as our other big, who himself lacks toughness and smarts on defense. Covingon is literally still the only player we have that is an ideal compliment to KAT in that he can defend AND shoot. Man we have a hell of a hard time finding two-way players.

KBD ended the summer league with a fizzle....two lackluster games in a row. Really not impressed at all with our two second year guys. And that really sucks. Hell of a great job by the coaching staff though. Really got these guys to defend, move the ball, and take good shots.

Not sure he will pass up Vonleh and Dieng, but yeah, with injuries he could definitely get some minutes. I think defensively he'll get torched. He does a good job walling up and keeping his feet nailed to the ground when he gets directly attacked, but if he has to move or jump out of his area, he either doesn't even try or is slow as shit. Intriguing prospect though.
I think Naz has put in some good effort at times but it's not consistent. Unless they are seeing some flashes in practices etc I think keeping him as a 2-way contract guy is probably ultimately wise. It gives him a carrot of something to work toward. If the guy goes out and gets in great shape and is just playing out of his mind in Iowa they can find a guy to cut to sign him to a team friendly multi year deal if they want to later on in season. If I was him I may prefer to actually play games in Iowa. He is raw although talented but IMO he needs to be playing basketball. It's encouraging he did well today against a legit NBA starter in Jarrett Allen. Even if he turns into Marreese Speights that still would be a nice find.

Again total opposite of Okogie though KBD didn't force things played within and didn't hurt them on offense expect missing open shots. His defense wasn't very good today at least on the first half. I think he picked it up in the 2nd.
Terrell is another 2nd year guy who was pretty underwhelming. I'm a Canyon Barry guy but he looked like a clearly better player today although Terrell did have some nice plays late in the game where he could have had like 3-4 assists in a row. 1 of those was somewhat out of control though.

Why is it that the wolves always seem to bring in perimeter players that cant shoot and bigs with toothpicks for legs?

I disagree, Crazy. He showed a lot of motor and toughness when I was in Vegas. His conditioning and awareness need to improve, but the motor and toughness are there.

Yeah, I didn't see any problems with his motor or toughness in any of these games. Dudes gonna be a steal
