I haven't read the thread. Kat needs to take some blame. He was absolutely terrible in the first half. I think he may of been on a combination of alcohol and Xanax. It's a common theme tho, our offense despite what the numbers say sucks. Zero moment or creataticity. Rose was making some stuff happen. Can we please pass the ball head on the break!!!
Lol. KAT did seem drugged up a bit at the beginning didn't he. Actually, I think he was intimidated by the whole thing. But he did improve a lot in the second half.

That's my thinking, Cool. You can disagree with Kenny, Charles or Shaq on any number of things, but it should get your attention when they all agree so emphatically. Note that Chris Weber was voicing the exact same criticisms of our offense during the game and he noted that a lot of former players have been saying the same things all season about the Wolves.

That's exactly what I'm saying. It's not just tonight - its been all of the national telecasts this year.
The Wolves play an ugly offense, based on low turnovers. Less passing, tougher shots. It's somewhat effective as we can tell since based on the stats the offense was ranked high while the defense was horrible.
I think that, the offense could be better. But I also think that a lot of commentators should be focusing on the putrid defense, rather then the offense.
Arghh. I really thought we would get blown out in this game, so credit to the GM for putting a team that could compete with an excellent Houston team. Our GM however, needs to consider shopping for a coach that can leverage the skills this team has.
My hope is that Thibs long term plan is just to run the business of it all and have and younger guy take over coaching. I think for now it is not as big of a deal that we don't have a sophisticated system. The kids need to learn consistency and discipline. I like what Thibs has done with Wiggins D and the culture of the team this year. When we are really ready to compete in a few year we will have to adapt what we are doing.
I agree with everyone that towns needs more touches. Even though he looked drugged like Duke said. The other thing is if we are going to attack Teague on Capela don't put KAT in the corner put him in the dunker spot (short corner) where he can dominate harden or paul on the glass.
Missed opportunity tonight. Can think it both ways. None of our stars played great (thought Wiggins was very solid) and the rockets needed a Harden MVP God game to beat us.
We were carried by Rose. Made props to him. Even though we lost I can omit I was wrong on him.

Im with the guys that wanted this playoff experience for towns and wig over the 14th pick and I still think this will work out well for those two. Wiggins had an okay 1st playoff game, wish he could make more of his shots and body up more on d but he wasn't getting any calls tonight. Towns look intimidated in his 1st playoff game but knowing Karl-Anthony and the competitor he is, He is going to play his butt off from gam 2 onwards. He will still blow defensive assignments (its the mental part on d that towns really struggle with) but the effort will be there.
Im going to predict that we will win at least 1 game this series.
