But at this point if we can sign him for the $5.8M MLE we’re able to offer then TC should just do it. He’s too talented and productive to not to acquire him at that price if possible. He’s that rare PF available right now who can rebound and hit from the perimeter. While more of a short range scorer, he has a mid-range shot and can hit from behind the arc. His defense comes and goes but we can’t have everything. Just sign him and move on.

I don't know, I think we have some desperation setting in!Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 6:59 amI agree!Phenom wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2026 11:11 pmI would add Guershon Yabusele as a good candidate.Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2026 10:53 pm OK. Bagley -- sure.
Lyles -- maybe.
Yabusele -- no thanks.

lol. Yes, desperation is taking hold in our message board. Hopefully Tim Connelly is not overcome by the same feelings of desperation.
Re: Wolves Offseason Forward Options
Not sure why this never crossed my radar (I think someone mentioned his name awhile back), but Josh Green for Jake LaRavia makes some sense, if the Lakers still have some extra cap space. It would reunite Green with Luka from back in those Mavs' glory days. LaRavia would add PF depth, as he looks to revive his career -- he wasn't that great last year. And it would improve the Wolves cap situation.

Not a bad idea. And it would reunite LaRavia with the team that drafted him.60WinTim wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 10:51 am Not sure why this never crossed my radar (I think someone mentioned his name awhile back), but Josh Green for Jake LaRavia makes some sense, if the Lakers still have some extra cap space. Free agent guard Quentin Grimes has agreed to a four-year, $60 million to join the Los Angeles Lakers, with a player option, sources tell ESPN.
Re: Wolves Offseason Forward Options
Here’s my updated list of bigs I’d target as potentially realistic acquisitions via the taxpayer MLE or a Josh Green trade with or without Mo Gueye but no one else:
1. Guerschon Yabusele (I’m thinking taxpayer MLE)
2. Marvin Bagley III (Vet min or taxpayer MLE)
3. Jack LaRavia (trade)
4. Jeremy Sochan (vet minimum)
5. Jalen Smith (trade — probably not realistic unless the Bulls really like Green)
6. Jonathan Kuminga (probably would require a sign-and-trade. Would he Hawks be interested in Green?)
7. LeBron (Is the narrative of coming here enough to accept the $6M MLE? Is a Green sign-and trade possible?)
8. Kelly Olynyk (taxpayer MLE or vet minimum)
9. Nick Richards (taxpayer MLE)
10. Andre Drummond (vet minimum)
11. Kevin Love (taxpayer MLE or vet minimum)
12. Kenrich Williams (taxpayer MLE or vet minimum)
13. Kevon Looney (taxpayer MLE. Is he healthy?)

Re: Wolves Offseason Forward Options
Windy said there is indication Lebron would consider signing with a team for a 4m vet minimum.

I'd have Kenrich a lot higher on that list. He's not exactly a big but he's fits what they need. Stout defender who can shoot.Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 11:17 am Here’s my updated list of bigs I’d target as potentially realistic acquisitions via the taxpayer MLE or a Josh Green trade with or without Mo Gueye but no one else:

They just don't need much more than that imo, and I'm guessing he can slide down to the 4 in some lineup combinations but I'm not totally sure.
Re: Wolves Offseason Forward Options
If LeBron wants to compete and have a real chance to win, the Wolves should be above the Warriors, especially in the West. LeBron doesn't feel like a good fit in Miami. Cleveland is a fine fit, it comes down to how he feels between the 2 rosters.
Then there are the other 6-8 teams that have reached out. Its hard to say how the Wolves stack up without knowing but they should fare well against the popular 3 teams.
