I just watched the condensed game from Monday of the Brewers and Astros. So basically Garrett cole has like half of his starts he has 10 or more strikeouts. That's seems pretty good. :) is there enough time for him to get to 300 Ks this season? How much is that guy going to get this offseason? I'm imagining a fleet of brinks trucks...

If you could get Thor for Eddie Rosario and a prospect would you do it? I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm okay with rolling Cave out in Left field next year.

Yes I would.

Who is the other prospect?

Let's say a fringe top 10 prospect like Blayne Enlow.

Remember the Twins farm system top 12-15 would be in most organization top 10

I would put Enlow between 6-8 in the Mets organization.

I don't think that's going to be enough to get Thor from the Mets. Enlow and Rosario for Thor? Sure I would do that and I'd throw in a couple lower prospects too if that was needed. Let's be honest that sounds to good to be true.

I don't think it's unrealistic Not a great comparisons but there were reports the Mets were asking for Andrew Benintendi from the Red Sox. Really the only thing he has over Rosario is service time and being younger.

He has a chance if he makes all 4 of his starts remaining. He will be getting Schezer type money from someone only being 28 years old.

He has OBP going for him (also nearly 3 years younger) but Rosario has more power. I remember hearing the Mets wanted Buxton and a top prospect. Aside of all this even with all the injuries Buxton would be hard to part with for me. His bat looks like it will be more than functional and with his speed and defense that makes him a hell of a player if he can just stay healthy. It's a big if and still his bat isn't a sure thing but...it's hard to get players like that. Let's just give Gerritt cole all the money. lol

Twins has a number of terrific defensive plays in this one. Heck of a win for them.

I haven't seen him pitch much because of his role but is Duffy like for real now? He has been quite good lately and looking back at his monthly splits it was just July that was a disaster. 48 innings and 67 strikeouts. What a boast it would be IF...they held on to the right guy. He still has 3 more years of arbitration. I was a Duffy guy for quite a while but my confidence in him had waned coming into this season. I was ready to move on if they needed to.

The bullpen has been great for the last month. Duffey is having a good year. I hope Dyson comes back strong. I think whatever is wrong there is not serious, but they know they would need him in the postseason.

I wonder what our record is this year when Astudillo plays.

Yeah Dyson's health is still a worry but I think they are probably resting him hoping they can get it taken care of. They have plenty of guys to put out there right now. Maybe not all of them good options but yeah. The lead they have now is pretty good also and Cleveland has been hit with injuries. Lopez was dealing against them yesterday a complete game masterpiece.
