I think here he has been pushed to score. Honestly as a young team with young players if you are losing and not scoring you look like a bust, but if you lose and at least are scoring you are at least look like you are developing.
Great question bleed. In my opinion would be a lot better defender because he dosen't have to carry the team and can fit a role. But the cavs would be worse because of wiggins lack of 3 pt shooting. Just don't think he would of develop that area of his game
I think with reduced minutes and more spot up shooting that Wiggins would be just fine shooting 3's. 35% is more than acceptable given the offensive load he has to carry. I think that number is higher if he is spotting up more and has his legs under him from less minutes.

If he is getting 10M I would let him walk out of here. Why can't we find some reclamation projects like the Blazers do?
10 million a year would be a good value. Sure you might be able to find a player as good as him for cheaper but considering that's just above mid level money soon he would become a trade asset pretty quickly. It will be interesting what the market for him is and if the fact that he is a RFA keeps his contract lower.

You never know until they get into the league, but I'm guessing the smart money would disagree with you. Ball has Rubio-like instincts with an offensive game. I don't see Magic Johnson in him, but he might be a better version of Jason Kidd.
Ball just isn't that type of player. He's a better shooter and a significantly worse defender while not being a great athlete. He's also going to have a target on his back. If his confidence doesn't break I think he'll be fine, but everyone is gonna go after him because of his dad and his brand before accomplishing anything. His main advantage is his size as a PG. He's a big guard. I think it really could go either way with him and whoever drafts him will have to make peace with him not being a great defender and hope he's good enough offensively for that to not matter.
You're right about the defense part, but I think he's better athletically than you give him credit for.
Russell is big enough to be a SG. Ball seems to be plenty big enough to be a SG. Both guys can pass plus they have Clarkson who can do a bit of everything. Looks like a good problem to have. Ball is a unique guy though no doubt. The question would become whether the Lakers have enough players that are above average as post players. The Blazers had that problem and then they seemed to remedy that problem by stealing Nukic.

Its interesting that the CBS poll doesn't even list Zach Collins as a first rounder. I view Collins as a fall back or trade back option and would consider him only if the top forwards are off the board (Jackson, Isaac and Tatum) when we draft. While Collins had good numbers in limited minutes, I have to be at least concerned that he wasn't able to crack the starting lineup, played in a weak conference and Gonzaga has not produced much in terms of quality big men in the NBA.

Kelly Olynyk is sort of meh and Adam Morrison was a flop.
Look at the bigs Gozaga had. They were loaded with 4 pretty good players. That's part of the reason they were no fluke and were in the national championship game. I didn't see enough of him to say how high I would value him but he was on a team of talented guys. Also just because other Gonzaga guys were meh doesn't mean Collins isn't going to be good. Remember when Gonzaga wasn't a real program? Yeah...that may have changed now. There are some intruiging guys that will be available outside those top 10 or lottery picks.
