Man how Jahlil Okafor stock has fallen. He is going to get picked up on the cheap. I would be happy to have him here. I think him and Towns can play together.

They would be so bad defensively. A lot of teams now want that offensive post off the bench and in today's league they are not that important

Wow, Bulls must have high hopes that 3-point line will removed in future.:P If they trade Mirotic (high volume even tough he has really bad % this year), McDermott is their only three point shooter with any volume.

I am not sure I would include picks and Crowder for Jimmy Butler. He is good, but in some ways not that much better than Crowder. Having them both would be huge for Boston.

I would include pick (singular) and Crowder.

Butler is very very good.

Crowder is above average and on one of the best contracts in the NBA... but I don't think he's capable of making a leap into Butler territory where he could carry a team for stretches.

Since there have been some rumors about Pacers listening offers about George, what people would think about three team trade that would send Butler to Indiana, George to Boston and Crowder and picks to Bulls?

Why Indy would do the trade? I think Butler is better player than PG3 and signed one year longer. So they wouldn't need to yet worry about losing him without compensation.
Why Boston would take PG3 instead of Butler? I think PG3 would fit better for Boston since he is better three point shooter. He would be capable to play off the ball when both Thomas and PG3 would be on the floor same time.
Why this could be better deal even for Bulls? When there is three teams involved, it would be easier to find suitable pieces for Bulls to get deal done.

I dig it... for all the reasons you cited. What picks though? I assume Brooklyn's 2017. Is there another one, too?

[Note: Even though Crowder is much better right now, I go for Jaylen Brown if I'm the Bulls. Crowder is better served as a complementary player on a good team. So start from scratch with Brown who has great potential... and the Brooklyn pick. And... the Bulls inevitably very high 2018 draft pick. That's a legit rebuild.]

Stein is reporting that the Knicks are asking for additional pieces in the Rubio trade and that is the hold up.

Minnesota's Ricky Rubio remains a significant target for the Knicks today, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Heh, interesting. It's funny how some pundits claim NY wants more to trade away Rose and others seem to indicate that it's NY doing the pursuing.

One thing to keep in mind....Rubio has been linked in rumors to the Knicks since the day he has been drafted. This has been going on for like 7 or 8 years now!

Ersan Ilyasova just got traded for the 4th time in a year. 5th time since June, 2105.

Milwaukee --> Detroit --> Orlando --> OKC --> Philadelphia --> Atlanta.

Hearing Wolves are determined to move Shabazz Muhammad today, looking for a pick. Don't know if he would be in potential Rubio-Rose deal.
