That Amen Thompson is something else.

I think the question for Houston is whether they try to stick with what they have and hope Green and/or Sengun can eventually be a #1 type option or do they need to make a trade for someone like Durant or Giannis. Amen would likely be the #1 player on Phoenix or Milwaukee's list of assets they want in return.
In my opinion, people need to get off the damn Durant trade train. The guy only ever won something when he joined an already championship level team due to a NBA cap hiccup. He isn't that great.

Giannis is worth going for, if you have a plethora of shooters to surround him with. Houston doesn't.

Houston should try to move off of Sengun, as he won't be worth the $ he'll expect to get paid. Green is close to that, but he is coming around actually.

If I were them, I would just start focusing on building around Thompson and Green. Get a pure facilitator pg, defensive big or two and shooters around them.

If OKC doesn't win it all, would they trade for Giannis? They have everyone's first for the next 3 years (that is how it feels!) and may look to cement a killer lineup that would be hard to beat.

I see towns fouled out tonight. Literally turning it on now. Seems like it has been entertaining game.

I don't want to underestimate Golden State or Houston, as both are really good defensive teams that will present challenges.

But man, I am really glad we are where we are in the bracket and playing one of those two teams in the conference semis versus Denver or Clippers. While I still think OKC is the best in the west, they are going to have their hands full with whoever comes out of this first round.

It looks like Leonard is playing really well and between him and Harden and Powell those are some pretty good perimeter players. They scare me a bit if they stay healthy. Go Nuggets! but mostly because in general I have more of an affinity for that franchise.
