Official Draft Day Thread
Re: Official Draft Day Thread
Umm... I just watched a couple minutes of highlights of Fleming...now I really want him!!!

Keep cooking TC

Re: Official Draft Day Thread
I would have been happy to end up with Konan. He’s the best athlete among the center prospects in this year’s draft and the best shot blocker in the Big 10. I’ve been focused tonight on Fleming and Raynaud but now I’m a bit disappointed TC doesn’t have the chance to draft him.
I’ll be very happy, however, if we end up with Fleming or Raynaud. Between the two, I’d prefer Fleming. But it will be interesting to see what TC does. Will it be Kalkbrenner who is NBA ready as a 5th year center with elite length? Or will it be someone we haven’t been talking about? Will TC trade down or trade out for a future pick? Stay tuned.

Re: Official Draft Day Thread
Fleming seems like he fits the Wolves mold.
Re: Official Draft Day Thread
He has one of those super high-rev motors. Guys like that tend to have success in the NBA if they have NBA-caliber physical attributes. Fleming has great size for a PF and decent size for a center. He’s also seems to have some skill. I’ll be really excited if TC drafts him to start the draft tomorrow night.
Re: Official Draft Day Thread
Jay Bilas just said he was surprised Rasheed Fleming wasn’t selected in the 1st round. He said he doesn’t expect him to last long tomorrow night. Let’s hope he doesn’t last past #31.
Re: Official Draft Day Thread
When he was going to the basket he was really flying towards the hoop. If the Wolves are looking to play fast he seems to fit that based on a the couple minutes I watched. He looks a lot like a really big wing that can play as a big. It would be nice to add a prospect that can play PF and has the size to do so that actually knows how to play basketball.Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 10:43 pmHe has one of those super high-rev motors. Can confirm our first round pick can catch a bounce pass from his highlight reel
Re: Official Draft Day Thread
We should all take care not to get too attached to or excited about Beringer or Fleming if we draft him tomorrow night. I could easily see TC packaging one or both along with Randle in a major trade for someone like Derrick White. But I’d like to draft Fleming and go forward with Beringer and Fleming as young front court talent with Dilly, TSJ and Clark as young backcourt and wing talent. If we can package Randle with Minott and/or Miller for a bridge PG or a veteran big I’d do it. Otherwise, I’m content either keeping Randle or letting him walk and possibly getting below the 1st apron so we have access to the full MLE.
