I listen to quite a few different nba pods and the discourse was all fairly similar. Wemby is being played too physically but there is never mention of anyone else taking a beating. Also the Wolves are still largely being dismissed. I heard quite a few "Spurs just missed shots" but it's never that the Wolves are missing shots.

This is great fuel for this Wolves team of course and makes me want the Wolves to win even more. Ever since the playoff bracket was set it was Wemby vs Jokic this and OKC vs Jokic/Wemby that.

I really hope the Wolves keep spoiling the party.

I remember listening to something several months ago, I don't remember the full context, but I'm pretty sure it was after Wolves v Spurs game but it was the one where Wemby was incredible and the Spurs won --- damn my memory is terrible.

Anyway they're gassing Wem up and then someone say something to the effect of, "it's just such a treat to the know that league is gonna be in good hands for a long time with Wemby and..." Now I'm fully expecting to hear Ant's name but "...Cooper Flagg"

I just don't get it he's the most successful player in the league under 25 yet he and the Wolves are being footnoted into the "inevitable" Victor Wembanyama era.

I’m a wolves fan, but Naz probably deserved to get hit. Wemby is great, and since we couldn’t beat him, we decided to get cheap over and over and he chose to say I’ve had enough, here’s an elbow. Good for him. Yes, I’m tired of his flopping and I’m tired of the missed goaltends, but you’ve gotta stand up for yourself sometimes too. The spurs punishment is that they have to come back to MN now for game 6, while OKC gets the extra rest. Short of Ant, this team has sucked and it’s shocking that we’ve managed to steal 2 games on this team.

Pretty sure it's just a bad take.

All Wemby and Mitch (with his comments post game) proved is that they aren't ready for playoff physicality and I think it's gonna cost em this series. Lucky us

Not trolling at all. The wolves knew they couldn’t beat Wemby at basketball so they decided to start playing hockey instead. I don’t fault that strategy at all, but just don’t cry when it gets escalated. Wemby went too far and should have been suspended a game, but the wolves were asking for that. Quit grabbing, pulling and holding the guy and maybe you won’t get smacked. I actually hate the spurs because of popovich, but let’s be objective here.
