Jonathan Jeanne has a wingspan that rivals Gobert and surpasses the Greek Freak. I wish we still had our second rounder from the Tyus trade to nab him. I hope we can acquire another pick as this seems to be a pretty deep draft.

If they don't have it it's probably not out there so you are reduced to trying to calculate it based on pictures of him with his arms outstretched. Lol

Also when it comes to former Gonzaga players...that Sabonis guy was at least good enough to be a token starter for a playoff team his rookie year and turns 21 in May. :)

Collins wingspan also isn't as big a deal if it is on the short end because he can jump out of the gym as a 7 footer. He may have come off the bench for them, but watching that team in the tourney he was pretty clearly the best big on that team. I didn't see him shoot the ball, but if he can hit 3's he becomes an elite prospect in my mind. A legit 7 footer who can jump out of the gym and shoot would be a great fit next to Towns and Dieng.

Yeah, the Collins kid seems to check the box in a lot of areas: edge, size, skill, two-way player. I'd prefer to pick BPA and package it in a trade, but if the Wolves were to keep their pick, this would be the guy I'd want them to take in the 6-8 range. He definitely would need a couple of years to develop, but would have the luxury of playing behind KAT and Dieng.

Can he defend well at the NBA level? Its one thing to rack up blocks playing a weak college conference schedule, but its another to be a good rim protector in the NBA. I just don't know how well his defense will translate to the NBA. I'd be a little more excited about him if he has a long winspan and good measurables (but I don't have much to go on). His three point shooting while promising was only ten all year so its a small sample size to go on. Right now, I think he would be a nice pickup after pick 10 or so, but I hope we have better options. I hope we nab Jackson or Isaac and I don't see Collins with the same upside. If we had a second pick in the middle first round and he was there, I'd be happy with him. I think our biggest need is a 3 and then 4 or a combo forward who has shown to be able to play both sides of the ball.

Consenus pick ? I hope not. ANOTHER PG? Who is a suspect shooter? If its gotta be a guard, make it Milik Monk.

Still believe take the best player avaliable regardless of position even if that is a PG. We did not see enough of Dunn to say he can be an above average pg and he looks like a combo guard in the league and Ricky is not good enough to ovoid taking the best player available.

I agree BPA but I hope it's either a wing or a PF. I'd be interested in trading down and getting a player at both spots but I'm greedy and optimistic like that.

FWIW Draft express has Zach Collins at #10 in their latest mock so I would say he is moving up right now picking him with our pick might not be soncrazy after all. He played limited minutes and it's just one stat but his per was 31 which is um like pretty good. I'm not saying Collins is my guy I just see him as a guy that could be better than people think he is. I remember when people thought Zach lavine wasn't any good because he was a bench player at UCLA. Well it turns out he was playing behind 3 NBA players and a coaches son who had a pretty nice college career. The Booker guy turned out to be pretty good playing off the bench at UK.
