I would LOVE that move. Get him the hell out of the West.

Not gonna happen.

I don't know a lot about contracts and cap space so maybe you can tell me if this does or doesn't make sense.

If you can sign a 5 year deal with your current team and only 4 with a new team, then could it make sense to go sign the 1+1 with the team you believe you want to play with and then sign the monster 5 year max with them next season?

Also, why can't more players move east? Seems like all the Western conference teams keep getting better while the East stays largely the same. I guess Dwight moved east at least

...not sure...I may rather have his underachieving game in the West. But yeah, I agree, it seems like the only players going east for the most part are those already in the east.

I was thinking the same thing Q.

Thinking more about the Lakers and how foolish they've been. When Clarkson, Randle, Russell, and Ingram are ready to be competitive, they are going to be begging teams to take that Deng contract off their hands. Literally begging for that to happen. We've done the smart thing so far.

Nahh. They aren't "afraid" of the luxury tax like we are...

Oops I got a little confused with the Horford and Durant to Boston talk. Hard to keep up.

Durant to the Celtics would be a smart move for him. A great coach and a great supporting cast that allows him to be the guy. Plus they still have a ton of assets in draft picks to continually add young cheap talent. That being said OKC is the best place for him to stay. They have a quality roster and were only one win away from the finals. The Ibaka trade was a major upgrade for them.
