Ha, good point about Smith, Abe. As I have mentioned before, I foresee a big Cavs win Wednesday...I don't think Toronto can stay as hot from the outside as they have been. But I'm really looking forward to Wednesday's game back in Toronto...I think it's going to be a good one.

As for the finals, I can't see Cleveland (or Toronto) hanging with a GS team with home court advantage...they are just so much more complete a team, and I think the Cavs would feel deflated going home 0-2. If OkC manages to prevail though, the East Conference team would have home court advantage, and that could make for a more interesting series,

The Sixers had Andrew Toney and Bobby Jones, The Celtics DJ, Parrish, McHale, and the Bucks had Moncrief, Bridgeman and Lister. The competition was kind of like the West today. My Bucks could never get over the hump, but the eventual conference champion was battle tested when they reached the finals.

Yep. The Milwaukee Bucks of the 1980s were sorta like the Phoenix Suns of the 2000s. (Not defensively, obviously) More in that they were probably the league's 3rd best team (or even 2nd best?) yet never made the Finals.

Granted, I didn't watch them play too much...

I think Bismack's stock has just gone up after last night's game. That block (called a BS foul) on LeBron was sick.

I haven't watched a ton of this series but Biyombo's ability to defend all over the floor is massive against the Cavs. It doesn't matter all that much if he is away from the basket because the Cavs don't have guys that hurt you that much in the paint as low post guys. This could be a preview of a problem the Cavs will have playing either OKC or GS.

I am not sure what the deal is with him maybe someone else that has watched more regular season Cavs games can chime in but what I have heard/read he came into camp out of shape and I think has had some nagging injuries at times. Thee Cavs have gone with the 3 point shooting of other guys and that has hurt him also. Keep in mind that Mozgov had a number of years where he never really put it together. Last year seemed like he had gotten in. Maybe he did but maybe he reverted back. Idk, but he was last year sort of the Biyombo/Adams story that we have been seeing this year. Maybe a bit of a cautionary tale?

Maybe. Personally, I think Adams is legit.

Primarily because he's shown marked improvement in each of his three seasons. And if you guys haven't heard me saying how important that is when trying to legitimize the promise or potential of young players by now...

Does Green get fouled hard tonight? Someone on OKC need to really lay into him once I think. Maybe my disdain for the way the guy plays is getting the better of me.

I think the winner of tonight's game wins the series.

Yeah I agree that Adams is legit.

I forgot that Biyombo is only 23 (Mosgov's good year he was 28). Biyombo might still get overpaid to some extent but he probably won't fade into the end of the bench like Mosgov did at least I hope not. I've always liked him.
