Siakam blossoming into a hell of a player. Late first rounder for Toronto from a few years ago still on his rookie deal. Sigh....jealous again.

Since masai came in, they really focused on development of the young guys just as he did in Denver. I dont think the wolves have made development a priority. Its get lucky with a self motivated player and not try to develop one.
Stackhouse is the guy this team should go after post thibs, he knows how to work eith young guys.

I'm probably biased against Stackhouse in part because I couldn't stand watching him play as a basketball player. Incredibly inefficient.

As a coach hes going to be a hot name, especially for young teams.

"He doesn't treat his players as lumps in need of a template. You have to be comfortable and willing to venture far outside of yourself to understand the needs and backgrounds of others well enough for them to follow you.
"Our player development piece was a huge piece," Stackhouse told Zach Lowe in a podcast last summer. "LeBron James has his player development guy. Steph Curry. People say 'Could that work with pro guys?'...You're gonna still have some guys who wanna come in early...You have your player development set up to where you have that early group, the guys that wanna work out after practice, and guys that wanna come back at night...You gotta have structure. Not just coming in spot-shotting. Doing things that's geared and built to our offense, and making sure guys are...practicing shots they're gonna take when the game starts."
And abe, he agrees with you.
"I probably wouldn't like my game as a coach. Midrange twos...I tell guys, 'All right, If it's the shot clock and [a] guy runs you off and you gotta take a one-dribble pull-up, OK, do it. But otherwise, let's try to get into the paint, pull another trigger, or find something else on the weakside, or just sidestep him and take the three...Guys who have efficient midrange games are always outliers.'"
Stack was brought in as an ast coach this year for the grizz and he has been working with jackson jr since the summer. And i think that's working out pretty good.

David Blatt just faced off against Rick Pitino a couple days ago in Europe.

Chicago trades a future 2nd round pick to the Rockets for MCW and cash? Wait what? I thought it would be the Rockets giving up something to get rid of him and save some money. Weird.

Very little from Chicago's front office in recent years makes much sense.
I'm shocked those guys still have their jobs.

This was simply a salary dump from Houston. Chicago offered up a highly protected pick that will likely never convey and Houston sent along cash to make it worth Chicago's time.
