Why did it take so long for your true character to show through? Are you sure LST didn't slip something in your Shirley Temple today?

I don't believe it. Otherwise you wouldn't go to such great lengths to prove to us how much you know and comment on every post offering an alternative perspective. I think we're just trying to get you to try and be a bit more respectful if you're capable of it. If not then that is up to you. But the whining seems to be exclusively in your court from what I can tell, it's not whining to ask for more maturity.

I still do like Stanley. I just wouldn't draft him where I would have early in the college season. As the season continued (because it was early), we got a clearer sense of what the draft class looks like and Stanley moved down my big board. No shame in that.

Putz? Whatever you say old man.

The same is true with Towns. He was not the consensus pick early in the college season. But solid numbers, and growth, from Towns vaulted him ahead of Okafor.

I don't get all the griping. Most people have acknowledged Cam's early support for Towns. We are happy for you. But we shouldn't have to buy a ticket from Cam to join him in that support.

Never said you did so don't create that narrative. Also, the debates I'm referring to took place late in the season and after it over. I won't begin to act like I know your stance, but just know the Towns/Okafor thing isn't the same as me lowering Stanley on my big board because there was still a half of basketball season left to play.

Well, I don't know the timeline on everything. I follow zippo college basketball. Once the season is done, I look start looking at stats, analytics, youtube video and scouting reports. I knew a month ago that Flip could only come to one conclusion. Towns.

I frequent this forum for "funzies," a way to kill some time and discuss my favorite franchise. I enjoy reading everyone's take and I can be swayed one way or another on almost anything if they have compelling evidence to back it up. Cam, Cool, Abe, LST, Lip, doper, TRKO, Mikkeman, and everyone else have made me a smarter basketball fan by posting on this forum. It's a shame that some of you take things on the internet so personally and place such importance on your opinions on basketball and the fact that people are offended on a Wolves forum is just plain silly. It is just a sport after all.

Cam if you don't care what we think about you why do you care so much that you were high on Towns first? I like a good portion of what you post, but why do you have to be so abrasive all the time? Is it not more enjoyable to talk about basketball in an amicable environment among fellow Wolves fans (even though we have different opinions) than it is to argue for the sake of saying look at me I was right I'm right I'm right.

Kind of disappointing seeing the mud sling. It takes two to tango for things to escalate in such a fashion, but yeah, this was not Cam's finest hour. That being said....

- Cam is by far the top poster (volume wise) on this board. It's easy to cherry-pick something he said that ended up being wrong when there are 5,000+ opinions of his to choose from. Respect.

- He's also probably the most knowledgeable about college hoops. He's obviously a hoops junkie and I've gleaned a ton of knowledge from his takes. I bet we all have.

- Yeah, he comes on strong, but has mostly taken as much heat, if not more, than he's given out. He is also an equal opportunity shit giver-outer (yeah, I just made that up). He gives as much crap to the most amicable of posters, such as LST, as to those who tend toward being disagreeable or edgy at times.

- Cam, from my vantage point, your credibility was earned a long time ago. I don't even care if you are "right" or not all the time. You shouldn't care so much either. It's kind of off putting.

That was a really politically correct assessment.
