Interesting article analyzing what we have pointed out on this board...that a team with Irving and Love on the floor is going to have a difficult time stopping anyone. Toronto has attacked Love/Irving relentlessly with PnRs, and the duo is giving up 1.09 points per attempt...a rate that would have put them last by a mile of all duos defending ar least 250 PnRs.
Since the Cavs can't beat OkC or GS (or maybe even Toronto) without some offensive contribution from Love and Irving, they need to find a way to hide them defensively. Zach Lowe comes up with what I think is a good solution...put Love on Biyombo and Irving on Carroll (letting James guard Lowry). Makes a lot of sense to me...I wonder if Lue agrees.

Tonight Jalen Rose mentioned who was at the postgame PC for the Cavs the last 2 games. game 3 no Love but Lebron and Kyrie. Game 4 Lebron and JR Smith? interesting

Green is -28 in the first half after going -46 last game. They may need to think about changing their lineup up. The Thunder's size seems to be getting the better of them.
Re: Who wins the championship
OKC is just aggressive defending and the bigs and others for OKC aren't doing enough. Someone has to dribble drive and break down the defense for them. I don't really think they have that type although Curry can do that it's not what he is used to doing. This OKC stepping up their game is quite the development.

We've been waiting for them to take the next step. They may be taking it. Durant and Westbrook are as good of a duo out there and they have nice role players. I'm hoping they do it.
Re: Who wins the championship
Klay with a heck of a start to the 2nd half to get GS back in it
Re: Who wins the championship
It looks to me like we are seeing a championship team in OKC. Defense, wanting it, putting up a bunch of points on one of the top defensive teams isn't he league beating the Spurs in 6 games. Unless GS makes some shocking comeback here tonight I'll take OKC to win the Championship.
Re: Who wins the championship
Roberson had a better game than everyone on the Warriors not named Klay Thompson. Ouch

It wasn't too long ago some pundits suggested KD would leave OKC to play with GS so he could win a title. LOL
