He said from what he has gather the Wolves got the players they wanted. I saw a video of one of Fultz FTs from last night it was REALLY bad. Especially considering how much he is gonna be making as a #1 overall pick...it probably made sense to pass. The Dunc'd On Guys said they think the Aixers should try and shop him hard right now and hope to get something back. Thorpe said on Wolfson's podcast that he didn't want to judge too much since he doesn't know the situation with Fultz including his healthy but he said the shooting is obviously a concern and he said he doesn't look explosive at all either.

He also fired his shooting coach after a falling out. He looks like he has the same mental block Bennett had. Just completely forgot how to play basketball.

Yeah, that free throw was terrible. Damn near unexplainable.

People say the yips, but I'd lean towards that he has serious mental health issues.

I hope he is able to figure it all out and finds a way to prosper.

Fultz has bigger issues than his shooting. He's either got something physically wrong with him or he is feeling an immense amount of mental stress and his body cant cope.

Id think there would be numerous reports if it was something physical.

Considering the whole "mystique" behind it over the last year; I'd easily lean towards a mental issue.

I tend to agree with you but an injury could have had some factor with the mental issue. Like Kahns brought up I t really does feel a bit like the Bennett situation although Fultz is more talented etc. both guys were drafted for their dynamic scoring ability. Fultz's body language is more worrisome than when Flynn was coming backntrying tonplay his 2nd season with that hip injury. Fultz just looks like he should t even be out there from what I saw.

Well, one of the reasons that Fultz/6ers arent on a good relationship with hanlen is because Hanlen tweeted that Fultz isnt physically healthy. It wouldnt be the first time that the 6ers have tried to hide a physical issue .

One thing I find kinda weird is the idea that if we had gotten a future first that would have been significant towards building in the future. So a protected first round pick from a team that gets Butler where the pick is very likely to be worse than our own is a building block? It helps but...I don't see that as an obvious path to getting that other star upside guy. Why couldn't we do that with our own pick? Do I want more draft compensation in this deal? Yes. It seems like nobody brings up the low salaries of these guys for the next 2 years (Covington beyond) as something that helps the team going forward.

For me it's more so about draft flexibility and being able to either package 2 picks to move up or just having another prospect/trade asset. Either way not getting a 1st or another 2nd doesn't make this a bad deal to me, just not ideal (which is hard to get when a star forces their way out).
