In his 5 NBA seasons before this one, Beverly never played in 80 games. He played 70+ games only one of those 5 seasons when he played just 71. In his other 4 seasons, he played 41, 56, 56, and 67 games respectively. He didn't play particularly heavy minutes either. Bottom line is that durability is a talent. Some players have it and some don't.

The Clippers were built to collapse with injuries this season. Three of their four best players -- Griffin, Gallo and Beverly -- do NOT have durability among their many talents. Two of those three are out with injuries as we speak. Gallo has been out for a while and now Beverly is out for the season. The Clippers are a good reminder that, for all their faults, Wiggins, KAT, Gorgui and Teague have a lot of value as good players (in KAT's case almost great) who can be counted on to play nearly every game.

Derrick Rose is contemplating his future in the league. I feel bad for the guy even though he has said some dumb stuff and has plenty of money. He can still play if he can stay healthy. Even if he does come back play this year I wouldn't be surprised if that's it.

John Wall out for a couple weeks, yet they somehow lead the Jailblazers by 9 at the half. Hmmm. So apparently they don't fall apart when an important starter goes down.

Yes. And the Sixers won tonight without Ben Simmons. In fact, they won pretty handily.

Portland just won at Washington. Welp, didn't take them long to pass us up!

Oh wow, I turned it off, Wiz were up 15 with about 6 minutes left.

Yes, a Wolvesian type of 4th quarter display by the Wizards. We can't keep counting on Eastern conference teams to beat our Western conference foes!

The Bucks are a weird team that seem to be underachieving. They are .500 right now and are not good on defense either. They just had the Jazz drop them 108-121.

Remember when people were amazed at the Bulls being a good defensive team early? Yeah they are 29th now.
