He has been brilliant in Toronto that Brazilian kid had a nice day today in SL.
Houston has had a rough offseason everything went wrong so far.

Well Dallas did offer him a ton of cash.
Edit: back to your point it was a weird thing to do to let Parsons out on the market but it also did him a big favor to pay him more than the less than a million he would have been making right? He sort of did a Boozer and kinda screwed them. Maybe if they had more time they may have been able to talk Bosh into coming but the clock was ticking and Parsons took as much cash as he could get in his deal. I can't blame him for taking what he could get though.

Wouldn't the Rockets be better off letting him go and filling the rest of the team using the max cap space they would have? They just traded their backup PG and C for cap space that they won't be able to use if they re-sign Parsons. I think you can get decent production from Ariza at half the cost and then use the rest of your space to fill out your decimated roster. I don't think Parsons is a max guy, so I guess I wouldn't be matching that deal from the Mavericks. What's stopping you from keeping the cap space to try to pry Aldridge away from Portland next offseason or leaving the space open for Love if he doesn't get traded? I just don't see how they get better keeping Parsons at that much money when they lost some useful pieces for a botched move. I would rather throw a max at Bledsoe if I were them to try to get a potential star than overpay a role player. I feel like the GM's watched too much Oprah going into this offseason. "You get a max contract, you get a max contract and you get a max contract! Everybody is getting a max contract!"

Khans I don't disagree with what you are saying except one point. Ariza is going to get paid more than half of what Parson's cost. Looks at what guys are getting this offseason Ariza probably gets somewhere around 10 million per. Yeah that's crazy but teams want him bad. Parson's is a much better player than Ariza and teams are lining up for Ariza. Houston can't piss around and lose Parson's too they better just pay up and keep him.

Rockets are screwed. They took the risk and paid dearly for it. Their front office gets too much praised the last few years and they do deserve it with the harden trade, howard signing and being able to sign away asik and lin. So much so that they got away with wasting a pick on royce white. But they blew it big time this off season.
Matching parsons now will be step backwards for them as they lost lin, asik, a first pick and cap space all just to pay parsons max. Things are looking grim for them at the moment. There is really no better option for them right now. Deng and ariza would probably cost them most of their cap space and they are no upgrade over parsons. They wont be able to replace lin and asik. They are the biggest losers in this free agency so far.

Losing Asik for nothing hurts. After all the offers they got and how that situation dragged out they got nothing. McHale has too be kinda dissappointed and pissed right now.

Gasol is close to signing with chicago in a sign and trade. This all but eliminate the bulls as a suitor for love this off season. Melo likely going back to new york.
Its down to the cavs, celtics and warriors now. Wiggins or disappointment for me. Do what you can to get wiggins flip.

It's a Wiggins package or keep Love for me. I haven't wavered off of that.

Im with you in that wiggins is the only guy i truly wanted.
Have to ask if the cavs can pay deng above the cap? He is unrestricted but cavs do have rights on him for trading for him right? Not clear on that. If its possible then a sign and trade with deng going to another team might be an option. Makes it easier salary wise and cavs get to keep 2 of thompson, waiters or bennet All 3 are not deal breakers for me as I only want wiggins. We might get something worthwhile from deng going to a 3rd team or a big trade exception. Dont know if its possible though.

Plot Twist: K-Love realizes how SHITTY the rumored offers are for him, finds new chip on his shoulder, decides to prove he can be "the man" with Flip leading the way.
Minnesota holds their middle finger high. Fuck everybody. I'd rather go down with the ship than take on a trash package just to accommodate the league.
