Another one drops!
Shams Charania @ShamsCharania
The Los Angeles Clippers are trading Terance Mann and Bones Hyland to the Atlanta Hawks for Bogdan Bogdanovic and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.
Dang Hawks are having a sale. Good for the Clippers.

Seems like a good deal for both sides, but the Hawks are another team who seem to be trying to stay in the middle of the league. Not the place you want to be. Either go for it or tear it down.

I've got my pitchfork, torch, and grenade launcher! I'm even packing a squirt gun!
As we've talked about a bunch here, it's not as much the motive that is being questioned, it's the return and lack of a competitive bidding process for Luka. No one will ever convince me (or their actual fans) that this was the best deal the Mavs could get for him.
Then the Lakers declare rather publicly that they needed a big to help backfill AD - and voila! - Charlotte suddenly makes Mark Williams available in exchange for inferior players and a draft pick next century!
I'm back on the conspiracy train!
Yep.
Max Christie could develop into an All Star player someday... and the trade would still be lopsided for LA. And... the other elephant in the room is that Davis is SEVEN years older than Doncic who is just now entering what is usually considered NBA prime years.
FWIW AD is just under SIX years older than Doncic but who's counting?
Get out of here with your exactitudes... I'm gonna keep using my fuzzy math... thank you very much.

If i was a gambling man (hee-hee) I would have bet TC would have come up with something. We need to move some money around.

Less than a half hour to go!
I recall in the past that TC would let local beat writers that nothing is going down. Since that has not happened, yet, it means something is still possible. But I am not getting my hopes too high...

They don't have their picks. They can't afford to tear it down.

Drat! We missed out the Cody Zeller sweepstakes. Traded from Atlanta to Houston. Hopefully he doesn't play against us tonight... j/k

I saw the Clippers need to drop 2 roster spots to compete their trades. Julius for Powell, Dunn and Batum does that.

Nm read that wrong. It's Atlanta and their roster is not looking appealing right now.

It is a foregone conclusion that Clark will be converted to a standard NBA contract, which would leave the Wolves with no open roster spots. Which means the Wolves would not be part of the buyout market.
