Had the right teams, but not the right trades.

Step 1 post Ball trade

Basically there's 2 free agents I think we MUST get to round out the roster

Tyus Jones and Marvin Bagley.

If we can get them on the cheap, that rounds out the bench

C Gobert /Beringer /Zikarsky
PF McDaniels /Bagley
SF Dosumnu /Shannon /Anderson
SG Edwards /Green /Evans
PG Ball /Jones /Conley

Zikarsky, Kaufman-Renn and someone else on two-ways
Love this team potentially. I love Jaden at the 4. Would prefer Naz over Bagely as 6 man…I will get over it some day but I will also watch Charlotte and I hope they win a title before we do…

Can this roster happen financially? How do we dump Donte’s money? Somehow folded into the evolving monster trade we started and somehow get picks out of it?
In that suggested starting lineup, who is going to guard opposing 4's?

Maybe the question should have been, who is going to guard the other teams highest usage player? Are you going to put Ayo on Kawhi, or Cade Cunningham? No it will be Jaden and we will have no one to guard 4's.

EDIT: I'd probably rather keep Bones than sign Jones
I like the bagley idea, that would be ideal. Disagree on Jones though. This team has plenty of guards now and TSJ is most definitely our backup PG (assuming he doesn’t get traded). We saw how TSJ thrived in that role and how Finch spoke of him im that role. Also, I don’t think you can start Ayo at the 3, especially with Jaden at the 4. I think we’re going to see a big jump from Joan his year, but it’s tough to play him and Rudy together. I like the Bagley idea.

Good point. Jaden is a 3.

Who are the PFs on those teams? Currently we don't know because their previous PFs are FA. Who are the PFs that need to be guarded?

I did spin around and say it might better to keep Bones.

If you don't start Ayo, then he backs up Ball, and then you need TWO PF's. I don't think there are 2 PF's worth a damn in the FA market given what we have to spend.

Tim and co. gotta get their scouting hats on this summer.

First PF in summer league with no team commitment dropping 20 or 10, give him a call.

Is that a thing I can put 20$ on in kalshi? Kaufman Renn for 20 and 10!

It's actually gonna be Rocco. He knows Lip needs this.
