I'm big chemistry guy and I got to watch the whole game today. It's seems like this group is very close with each other. This team just has new feel. I don't know if it's new manager or Mauer being gone so new guys have to take leadership roles. Whatever it's this team is fun to watch.

My guess would be Austin, but I just looked and he's out of minor league options. Honestly with Larnach in the minors and with the team filling the gap with Cron. Austin is kind of expendable.
I can see that. What about Ehire Adrianza?
I saw your post about Austin being DFA but I think Ehire has more value since he can play all over the field and he has shown some ability to hit at times. I think Jester made a good point about them having a number of options coming up with power bats. Meanwhile Cron has looked good in the field of what I have seen. Ok there was one play the first game i saw so thought Mayer would have made but he has dug out some balls etc. it will be interesting to see what happens with Austin. Maybe he clears or they lose him for nothing or they get some minor prospect for him I'm a trade.

I like the observations. Without thinking about it too much there are allot of personalities on the roster of the younger guys. I think vets like Cruz and Gonzalez add to is and Scoop and Cruz are friends from before. I think Molitor was a good manager and was a solid manager for the group but I think a different/younger voice might be even better. It sounds like Buxton ain't being shy these days and is super confident. It could be a really fun season.

Who will we trade to the Giants next?!? Looks like another something is better than nothing deal but I'll take it. Malique Ziegler Is from Des Moines so they got a local kid back which is kinda fun.

That is what I felt too. Then I looked at his exit velocity and I think with a tweak to his launch angle he has so good power potential for a CF.
(Just kidding - I didn't look at any of that)

Ha! I agree with your take. Great to have an Iowan down in the farm.
The bats got hot last night with 6 homers against a DeGrom of the Mets.

A couple of disappointing losses the last 2 games watching the condensed game. I have zero idea how the ump missed the ball hitting off Cron's hands or bat or something and then how you can't review that play is straight up dumb. Rocco gets tossed for arguing balls and strikes? No he wasn't. Maybe that play doesn't end up affecting the outcome of the game but it was a terrible call. I'm a Mejia fan but that was not a good appearance and I'm unsure why someone (maybe anyone) else wasn't available to get an out.
I'm usually one for aggressive base running but that play at the plate at the end of the game yesterday with Cron...I'm not sure he should have been sent or maybe he wasn't why he was looking back in the outfield while plugging around 3rd I have no idea.
Still some good things happening from this team so far but it would have been nice to keep up the good start but no. Still it's a fun team to watch.

Well things have certainly turned around. Can we keep playing the Orioles? We have played fewer games than many other teams but have the 2nd best winning percentage in baseball and 4th in HRs. This Rosario guy is pretty good.
