Great deal for Tyus Jones. He makes a good bit more than the mid-level and remains on the team that fits him best in the role that fits him best. He'll get to revisit free agency again a couple years from now. Not a bad move at all.

Tyus was out of the wolves price range

That's fine. Wolves should offer Naz, Minott or a future second and get Kennedy Chandler who was drafted as Tyus Jones insurance.

If Minnesota wanted Kennedy Chandler they would have simply drafted him. They had multiple chances to do so. It would appear they aren't interested.

Apparently, they preferred Kessler and Moore, but Naz, Minott and a second are less valuable pieces.
