Jeremy Woo from SI has Dalen Terry at 30.

BTW, he has Minnesota taking Liddell at 19, Ismael Kamagate at 40, Gabriele Procida at 48 and Trevion Williams at 50

Thanks Kek! No doubt, Braun would be a good pick if he slides to 40.

I can easily see Woo being right on all three Wolves picks. I'm becoming more and more convinced that a lot of teams will regret passing on Dalen Terry. And that would include the Wolves passing on him at #19. Since I don't see a realistic path for trading up to get Dyson Daniels, I'd go with Terry at #19. I think I prefer Koloko over Kamagate, but I don't know whether either one will still be available at #40. I still like Jalen Williams as another possibility at #19. And I guess I'd be OK with Liddell, but I'd be disappointed. Gabriele Procida and Trevion Williams would be great picks at 48 and 50. If you haven't seen any video of Trevion Williams, I strongly encourage you to do so. He's a phenomenal passer with huge hands. Pure entertainment to watch him fling the ball around. He's not highly regarded for his defense, but he can pass and he's also a good rebounder statistically.

Overall, I'm not that crazy about the picks that Woo has for us and am glad he's not in charge of our draft. Frankly, I'd be disappointed if that's all we ended up with. Three bigs and no point guards or wings, except for a three point specialist. Liddell is a solid pick and I probably would be ok with him there but I don't think he'll be the highest upside pick available. I would be ok with Kamagate at 40, but not if we drafted a big like Liddell at 19 and if we did draft a center there, like you I would prefer Koloko if he drops there. I'm not crazy about Trevion Williams. I do like his passing, but I am concerned about his free throw shooting, lack of outside shooting, lack of shot blocking and he'll be 22 in Sept, so I don't see the upside with him as I do with a younger player. I have other guys I prefer here and if we took Liddell and Kamagate, he might be redundant. I do like his Procida's outside shooting and stashability, but I kind of view it as a safe pick, not a high upside pick.

Given his draft board, here is who I would take: Tari Eason at 19, Christian Braun at 40 (though I am tempted to trade up for Kennedy Chandler who he has going at 39 or Koloko who he has going at 37, with a minor sweetener). I would take Dom Barlow at 48 and at 50, I'd take Leonard Miller or Montero to stash. He doesn't have Vince Williams or Tevin Brown getting drafted, so I'd try to sign them as free agents. Surprisingly, he didn't have Leonard Miller being drafted (though he'd be a steal at 48 or 50) especially if he is stashable. Perhaps, he is assuming Leonard Miller will pull out of the draft which, as an international player, he has until June 13 to do so. Also Kofi Cockburn was undrafted and if we want another big body to bring into camp, you could certainly do worse than signing him as a free agent.

KG - If Tari Eason falls to #19 it will be a miracle. Along with Dyson Daniels, he's a guy I'd consider trading up for. We wouldn't have to trade up nearly as far to get Eason though. I wouldn't draft Braun. I use don't like wings and guard who can't finish/score well at the rim. Moreover, even though he's a great leaper, I think his short arms will catch up with him and really inhibit his game in the NBA. If Leonard Miller is there at 48, I'd definitely nab him. He's actually someone I'd consider at #40.

I would have thought Eason had little chance to fall to 19, but obviously Woo thinks he does drop and for this discussion we were working with Woo's projections. When I started digging thru draft prospects Eason was projected to go at 19 to the Wolves. He then moved up a bit and maybe he is moving back down a bit. I don't think the Eason camp is super confident that he is going in the lottery based on the teams he is working out with. He did workout for the Wolves and also San Antonio and Memphis which both pick after us. I don't think him falling to 19 qualifies as a miracle, though, it may be a bit surprising. If he does fall to 19 I hope its not for a reason that makes him unattractive at 19. On the other hand, Dyson Daniels is a seeming lock to be drafted in the top ten.

You mentioned you like both standing reach and big hands. Dom Barlow has the same standing reach as Trevion Williams, a slightly longer wingspan and slightly bigger hands. He just turned 19, so he's young. He also shot 40% from threes during the second half of the season. His FG% was 58.5% and his FT% was 76.4%. His per 36 numbers are 8.4 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 1.5 steals, 2.1 assists, 21.2 points. I'm curious if you have looked at him at all and what your thoughts are. He played in the new Overtime Elite League and was a teammate of Jean Montero.

Version 4.0 adds Jean Montero and makes some adjustments to rankings.

1. Christian Koloko
2. Dalen Terry (Probably only a small chance he is available at 40, probably would need to trade up)
3. Dom Barlow
4. Justin Lewis
5. Christian Braun
6. Andrew Nembhard
7. Vince Williams
8. Ismael Kamagate (stashable)
9. Leonard Miller (stashable)
10. Jean Montero (stashable, good scorer, assists and steals, needs work on his three point shooting)
11. Julian Champagnie
12. David Roddy
13. Yanick Nzosa (stashable)
14. Ryan Rollins
15. Tevin Brown
16. Josh Minott
17. Gabriele Procida (stashable)
18. Jabari Walker
19. Orlando Robinson
20. Kofi Cockburn

Love all the work you're doing on this, KG. I'm just starting to think more about the 2nd round. With 3 picks in the 2nd round it makes sense to pay attention to potential 2nd-round picks. Of course, it's likely that the Wolves will trade at least one and probably two if not all three of those 2nd-round picks.
