A bit of a tangent, but "ouch for the Bulls":

Marc J. Spears ?@SpearsNBAYahoo 13m13 minutes ago
Bulls say Derrick Rose reported today with right knee pain and MRI confirmed a medial meniscus tear of the right knee. Surgery needed.

The Wolves are .500 in the month of February with three games left. Tomorrow against the Wiz: win. Then at Chicago: win? Followed by a back-to-back hosting Memphis.

But 2 wins would give the Wolves a winning record in February. Who woulda thunk that was possible?!?

No sympathy for Derrick Rose or the Bulls. Go back to Memphis and actually attend a class this time.

When Obama offered Change I guess in KG's case that meant change is all that would be left after taxes.

While it's ok to realize injuries and bad luck are part of sports... what does going to class have to do with anything.

Do you realize just how many current and former NBA athletes skated by or cheated in college? Just because you didn't hear about it... do those people get your sympathy?

If you haven't seen the presser, it's worth watching. Things just feel right again!

Most telling thing about the presser to me was that most of KGs animosity seemed to be at McHale when he left.

Wow your going to knock a by all accounts good guy that has been through some tough injuries because he didn't go to class?? Knowing full well he was essentially forced to attend a college because of a questionable policy (right, wrong, or indifferent) the NBA has? Take a lap cool

Indeed, that's why I'm knocking him. You can be fine with it though, your prerogative.

When all the dust clears way-----I think we better enjoy these 29 games or whatever it is. I don't think there's gonna be much of a chance that he goes into next year as a player.

The new TV contract kicks in before the 16-17 season. That will make EVERY team a lot more money----in turn making them be worth that much more. I just don't believe that KG's gonna take a paycut to play here let alone miss the opportunity to get on board as a minority owner BEFORE the team takes off (value wise).

You could be right, what. But the market is usually pretty good factoring in future growth. I suspect valuations for NBA franchises took a leap the moment the new TV deal was announced. So Garnett has already missed the boat.

Now Flip on the other hand... His timing was good!
