That's what I'm wondering.

Or is this just signaling that Flip has given up on AB?

Very odd, interesting, weird ass move that I can't decide whether I like or not.

I have already forgotten about Gary Neal

Based on what we heard from Lip, I tend to believe they still believe in AB. I'm not sure if this is a sign they are going to move Thad or not. Maybe these moves are more for next year and they're expecting Thad to opt out? I really don't know. I guess we'll have to wait and see what else happens today lol

Common just said his sources are saying this is the last trade of the day.

I really think CoolBreeze in on to something here......

Izzo coming to the Wolves? We already have a pretty stacked young roster with all sorts of "potential". Throw another one in from MSU? Might be a clincher.

Still I actually like him more then LaVine when we drafted. At the time, we knew that Love was going to be gone----we just didn't know we get Thad, Bennett with it. Payne is a attacking PF that is perfect with Rubio and he has a decent shot (think of pick and roll again).

Let's just wait and see.

Another aspect to consider here...

What does this mean for our Euro-stash players? I had thought we were going to bring the PF over after the season?

3-Headed monster at PF.

Bennett

Payne

Bjelica
I wonder if Payne even flew back with the Hawks last night.

Not too excited about the trade. Don't like trading picks unless you are getting something proven in return.

Our AP guy said he just stayed in the city last night, was walking around downtown today. I also heard that Payne was talking to one of the Wolves front office guys before the game last night, so it sounds like this was planned for a while, just needed the Mo deal to happen first

This trade makes no sense to me. Not a fan of it. Payne's basically a 24-year old rookie. We just traded a late 1st for him, assuming we're a playoff team by the time we're forced to give up a pick. Yuck.

I was "mehh" on Payne pre-draft. I didn't see him becoming a big time NBA player, but a rotation player, sure. I like his intangibles and background. He competes.

Anybody have an update on that medical condition he had at MSU?

More like a 3-headed question mark. We have no clue if any of these guys will pan out.

This. And even then, it sometimes isn't ideal. Budinger, Webster...
