He did, but man, he had a couple of crucial turnovers. Plus we need him and Wiggins to eventually be reliable 3-point shooters that can hit that shot in volume. That is the one thing I am worried about with this team moving forward, the team really doesn't have 3pt shooting at all, Wiggins is not bad but he is slowly regressing, I know he can improve. But of the wolves young guys non really have good three point shots. I thought Lavine would have been better at that but as of right now he is just average at best

Agreed, it's something I ranted about earlier in the year, but our lackluster defense long ago overshadowed our lackluster ability to shoot. But tonight you saw how damn crowded it got in the paint, where Atlanta swarmed us.

The good news is that 3-point shooting is something players can and do improve upon. Not all do of course (Corey Brewer, Demar DeRozan, and Rajon Rondo are some random names that come to mind), but many do. And Shabazz, Wiggins, and LaVine all show the potential to be good at it. It really needs to be a priority if we're going to compete with the big boys in the West.

I just got back from the plasma center. Had to try and cover my bets tonight. Seriously, horse handicapping is my game now, I rarely bet on the NBA.

But very disappointing outcome for me. I obviously expected a lot more tonight. I don't blame Ricky after just coming back, but if he's going to play like that we can't beat a team like the Hawks. We outrebounded them by 14 - not a small margin - and still couldn't keep it close. Too many turnovers and not enough cohesion on offense. I want to see Wiggins start at the 2, Shabazz at the 3 and have Kmart come off the bench until he is eventually moved.

It was me. He signed with the Hawks for $2.5 million per year. At the time I saw him as a bigger, stronger version of Brewer and much better man defender. Instead we signed Brewer on a longer deal for almost twice per year what Atlanta gave Carrol. Carrol has been very good since signing with the Hawks.

Atlanta is a lot of fun to watch. The interior passing from Horford and Milsap... wow. Great stuff.

There was one play where Teague started cutting to the hoop before the ball was even thrown to Horford near the free throw line. Horford caught it and instantly handed it to Teague for the wide open layup.

Minnesota had no chance in this one. NONE. But I dug what I saw out of them in the first half. The Wolves played well in that first half. But Atlanta won this one easily, as should be expected. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them this spring... hopefully.
