He can fill in at least decently anywhere along the line except center which is likely the deepest spot on the line. Having a guy with that versatility active on game day is pretty valuable and this line isn't exactly stock full of vets beyond the projected starters.

I am too. I don't see how he doesn't make it and how Clemmings or Beavers would instead of him.

Cook is sounding like a complete back. Will Murray see the field much at all?

I'm skeptical of him being able to pass protect at a decent level. I'd happily be wrong but my guess is Murray will get on the field at times just because of that. Besides it's not like he sucks they should get guys on the field and help keep Cook somewhat fresh.

Heinicke is a nice athlete but has not looked very good.

I'm watching the buffalo feed and these guys aren't the best. You would think they haven't looked at the Vikings roster or possibly even done a football game just done commentary on their own team.

Bower looks absolutely huge and has shown some good stuff.

I didn't see it. Sounds like the OL didn't look good early. Waynes getting hurt is a concern. Bower was a positive.

...wake me up when the regular season begins. I'm not ready for football yet.

I am at that point too. I listened on the radio when tooling around in the garage last night, but didn't even know the score until this AM when driving to workout.

I decided to watch but I was working on a couple projects and also ate dinner. I'm not exactly fired up for football yet either and I'm still surprised that time of year is here. I suppose part of that is because I am actually following the Twins so much more this year.

This was a pretty decent summation except like one of the commenters after the story said LB Eric Wilson looked pretty good.

Also I'm not sure anyone stood out overall in the kicker and punter battle. Symmack had a terrific first punt but his 2nd one evened that out with just ok distance and then bounced the wrong way.
