Check out this video. It's either Taurean Prince yelling at Towns or a doctor talking about his hair transplant techniques.

Yeah, interesting video. While it's good to see KAT crashing the boards, he needs to be our rim protector when Rudy is out, and his laziness getting back on defense left Prince on an island. And while Ant showcases his improving passing skills, he might be even lazier than KAT getting back. It says a lot about Taurean that even though he took the shot from the corner, he gets back and almost prevents the layuip. Prince, along with Rudy, are the mature leaders of this team, and I endorse his attempt to fire KAT up by getting in his face. I think KAT, DLo and Ant all have the physical ability to be above average defenders...for them, it's mostly an issue of wanting. I expect many more on-court moments like this from Prince/Gobert this season, and I hope our three under-achieving starting defenders get the message. I also want Finchie to hold all three accountable. If they don't get the message, Taurean, Slo Mo and JMac are all eager to take away some of their minutes and show them how to play defense.
Re: Game Report - Wolves v. Jazz
I saw some of Finch's post game on the post game show. I also saw KAT's locker room interview. He was directly asked about kick outs. He just said they have to be better. I don't know if he was really acknowledging his problem or not. And when asked about the team's problems, he was adamant the offense was fine and the problems were on the defensive end. I really question his grasp on reality...

This is a terrible way to crash rebounds. Gets him out of position on defense going back and this bad habit of his contributes to his habitual foul trouble. It's for show!! Kat thinks this shows hustle, and determination but it show stupidity and immaturity.
Re: Game Report - Wolves v. Jazz
Upon further review, Duke, I agree. He has little chance of getting that rebound. I'm also not happy with Ant. Gobert has praised his on ball defense, but said he needs to be more aware off ball. And here he is backpedaling slowly with his attention 100% on his man who's not in the play. Ant is athletic enough to help prince there, but he just wasn't paying attention. 60% of our starting lineup needs to wake up on defense

We're missing Beverley and Vanderbilt - both their individual contribution and the impact they have on the team collectively. Duke is absolutely right about KAT on that play. My issue with KAT on that play before Prince yelled at him was KAT's casual jog back on defense. He looked like me on an early morning easy-going jog. No urgency whatsoever. But he's not the only one. Finch was very clear that there's been an across the board lack of effort on the defensive end. That has to change. If Finch can't get a lot more defensive effort and intensity out of the guys he has, and they don't respond to benching, then the front office will have to make some player personnel changes.
