Bazz has looked pretty decent on defense. He seems to understand how to play team defense this year. Offensively he's rarely part of the offense with the option of 1. Crawford  2. Belly. Not getting a lot of touches. He will be fine and I've been trusting him defensively for a year.

I was excited to get Bazz on the deal we did. But the league was right on Bazz, just on a very good player. Can't dribble or shoot at a league average level, that mean generally you're not very good. There is a reason nobody wanted him.

Of course he's prolly going to have a hot streak, but that doesn't mean it good.

Last season Bazz 3-point shots in March were 3-25 and 3-16 in April. His post-all star 3-point shooting % was .170. I realize he has yet to hit a 3-pointer this year, but can you really say he has regressed?!?

He got REALLY hot in December and January last year on not an insignificant amount of attempts and ever since he just fell off a cliff. Bazzy with a reliable 3-point shot quadruples his current value as a player. I mean, it literally quadruples to being nearly a $10M per year type of salary. That's why Bjelly's value may skyrocket this offseason, assuming he keeps up the shooting.

I agree with what you are saying Q. However realistically looking at what team have next year the most either of those guys can really make this offseason is probably the non tax payer midlevel which is a bit over 8 million with yearly raises. It looks like about half the league is gonna be over the cap and the teams with any big money are gonna either be chasing the top guys or be the facilitators to make those deals happen (taking on Deng etc). That mid-level money may dry up pretty quickly too. Players better take what they can get unless they are really high end guys.
