One trade that has not been mentioned here is Dieng for Johnson. I thought the primary reason was financial, but after seeing James play last night I can't help but think that was a savvy move for on the court as well. James looked good on the court and offers a lot more position flexibility than Dieng. Not to mention Dieng has been in Cam's dog house for a long time...

I also wonder if Jmac has earned the backup PG position?

I am not sure how many games he has left, but it seems quite possible he could be signed to a regular contract once Evan Turner is bought out.

Yeah, he looked really good. More of a swiss army knife kind of PF vs. "just" 3 & D. His ability to handle and pass is a new wrinkle, plus he's at that 'tweener size that Rosas seems to like defensively with everyone not named KAT.

He more than anyone benefited from the better spacing last night, BUT it was just one game. Having said that, he's been quietly competent for a few games now. I'd prefer they get more of a bulldog 3 & D type backup PG (Haliburton?), as JMac can get abused on that end like practically every other player we have on the roster.

Not sure there is really a place for him given how much potential Reid has flashed.

That's a joke. What the fuck has he done to be asking for being waived?

I'll be curious. He wants consistent playing time but he would probably would get picked up on waivers because he is young, cheap and semi talented

We're starting Juan Hernangomez at his position. If he can't beat Juan out how the hell is he gonna play in this league?

He looks in terrific shape. He has made a some bone headed plays but then he tends to make a defensive play or some sort of legit hustle play to make up for it a few seconds later. I could see him being a guy that actually brings back some value if he returns to being the guy he was for a couple earlier seasons in Miami.

I know Juancho has blown some shots at the rim but I really like him actually. He and Johnson give the Wolves some legit size at the PF position and they both have a nice skill set. When they get switched onto a perimeter player they have a chance of sticking with someone. They are more like big SF than centers.
