Rubio's recent comments about needing to make the playoffs or else might not have gone over too well. I could see Thibs thinking, you know what, you don't shoot that well and you're making overtures to leave, why don't we help you with that. But he won't move him unless he has a really good option to take his place.

Yeah if the Wolves don't make the playoffs next year and Ricky wanted out his value will plummet . He's probably as valuable as he'll ever be right now. Get something for him. Don't end up with another Pek situation! If Dunns available and they pass on him only to be without a pg next year I'll be pissed .

Jon K has said that's not really what Rubio meant in that sit down it was somewhat lost in translation literally and figuratively. He said he is and has been committed to MN for years now. He just wants to win.
