I agree, Cam. I actually think Nowell can develop into a PG. He averaged slightly over 3 assists per game. He seems to have a good feel for the game and he's an excellent ballhandler. He reminds me a bit of Jrue Holiday.

I still think you are unduly down on the Culver pick, Lip. Many draft people put players in tiers (ala Flip). Culver was a tier or two ahead of anyone we could have drafted at #11 according to most tiers I saw. And it only cost us Dario to move up 5 spots? While I liked Dario, there is no denying he was a poor fit with KAT on the defensive end. And he is one year from getting paid. Seems like Rosas came out of this draft with pretty decent value.

But, yes, there is a LOT of work left to be done.

You might be right about me being unduly down on Culver. But I'm not feeling it right now. As for Dario, don't forget that he was a valuable trade asset. We could have drafted a player like Alexander-Walker who looks on paper and on film to be every bit as good as Culver and still had Saric as a trade asset to acquire more picks or help clear cap space for D. Russell or someone else.

Norwell seems like a nice prospect. He has plenty of size to play SG even if its on the smaller end in the NBA especially off the bench. If he can play as PG great that adds even more value. I'm still intrigued to some extent by Jared Terrell. He has been around the Wolves this offseason. I'd be interesting in keeping him around in one way or another (most likely keeping him as a 2-way guy) depending on how the Wolves are feeling about him. It will be interesting who we get as a 2-way player/s.

FWIW Sam V from the athletic had him at #48 on his big board. He had Naz Reid #34.

Dario was also like our second best 3pt shooter behind KAT so while he may not be a great fit next to KAT defensively, it's never good to lose shooting and not get the same if not more back in this era of the league. Everyone seems to think he's just a throwaway asset, but he could be better than both Culver and Cam when all is said and done.
