In the team's press release... they misspelled the team's name.

"Today, the Minnesota Timberwovles parted ways with President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas. As an organization, we remain committed to building a winning team that our fans and city can be proud of."

Now that's Timberwovles basketball baby!

Lol. Misspelling the team's name in its own press release is about as pathetic as it gets! The person responsible for that press release should be fired immediately.

Agreed. Along with anybody else who proofed it.

[Note: And I'd be remiss to the teachings of my high school English teacher if I didn't mention ending the quote with a preposition. I know writing rules are a bit more lax -- and that's actually good sometimes -- but it still looks funny to me with so many easy fixes available to avoid it.]

I couldn't agree more, Abe. Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I cannot put.

Obviously, Alex Rodriguez felt Gersson Rosa was a threat to his ability to have faithful relationships. He had to go.

I think this play is all about him trying to get JLo back. He obviously saw how excited this forum was about her.

Could it be that instead of a misspelling, they are actually changing their name to the Wovles? Its kind of fun to say.

Don't know what's worse. The Timberwolves spelling the Timberwolves wrong. Or Abe thinking it's 2001 :)
