If that happens, teague woukd be great for Charlotte.

He played college ball there.
They have no point guard on the roster.
Next year is a heavy pg draft, so teagues expiring fits perfectly.

It also likely means that rozier will hit the market as a free agent (dont want him though).

Problem is they can't just absorb Teague contact.

It's actually bad news for the wolves. Celtics won't need a vet PG anymore and the suns have been linked to rozier in the past. Possibly eliminating 2 teams that could use Teague

Memphis has a 24 million dollar trade exemption. Shouldn't that be who we're calling every day and night?

Yes. We should be calling them everyday. I believe kyle korver and Avery bradley's deal is non guaranteed also.

Do they want a vet pg to mentor morant? Teague on an expiring would be a good choice.

Charlotte could absorb teague if its a sign and trade. Makes sense for them to have a starting pg on an expiring for a year. Kemba gets more money in a sign and trade as well.

Lakers trade with the Wizards to move Wagner and the other 2 guys and now have a max slot available.

Only because Anthony Davis also gave up his trade kicker money. That trade kicker doesn't come without a price... and a jersey swap won't be enough.

So how many LeBron James-produced tv/movie ventures will A. Davis be intricately involved in now? After all, Rich Paul will be right there to broker a favorable deal.

That's right the trade kicker is probably more news than trading those guys because I figured at least one of them probably had some value. Maybe AD should contact Spree to see if he will have enough cash to feed his family. I'm kinda worried about him making it. In all seriousness though giving up 4 million ain't nothing. Now will the Lakers actually use the money wisely?

Yeah we can kiss DLo goodbye.

Depends on whether the Lakers are able to sign Kawhi or Butler. I suspect they won't, in which case they will put on a full court press to convince DLo to sign with them. I still don't think the puts the Wolves entirely out of the running. It really depends on (1) the extent to which Russell still has harbors any lingering resentment towards the Lakers or the LA media; (2) how much he values playing with close friends like KAT or Booker; (3) how much he values winning over being "the man;" and (4) how much he hates cold weather. In the last interview of DLo I read he complained repeatedly about the cold weather in New York.

If Russell goes to MN he can play with a close friend and have a good chance of making the playoffs. If he signs with the Suns he can play with a close friend (Booker) and enjoy warm sunny weather with little chance of making the playoffs. If he plays for the Lakers he won't have a close friend to play with, but will be on a likely championship contender while enjoying warm sunny weather. Oh, and both the Lakers and Suns have the cap room right now to sign him without having to dump salaries or do a sign-and-trade.

So the odds of the Wolves signing DLo are indeed pretty slim.

I think Dlo likes that Hollywood lifestyle.
