Wiggins is showing great effort, but his poor handle has been on full display in the 4th quarter. Substandard talent without KAT and poor coaching are the twin hallmarks of this team.
I can't watch tonight how is nowell. He and Naz are the only reasons I'm semi interested in the rest of the season
Better than okogie and culver.
Wiggs is running into 3 nuggets every time in the paint. He needs to pass more.
I agree with Cool that a 9 point loss on the road to the Nuggets without KAT isn't bad. The Wolves showed fight most of the game. But Nowell should have seen a lot more time on the floor. I have no idea why Graham had any minutes at all.
We're second in the league in Free Throws attempted per game and 19th in FT%. It's not just 3's. We're leaving a lot of free points on the board every night. We shot 15 more free throws than Denver tonight and only got a 7 point advantage.
He's not good. And he's massively overpaid. But is he really the proper target for all the scorn.
After all, the Wolves are perpetually bad... and yet the guy has at least had a positive VORP every year. Every year. At least he's an average NBA player. The same cannot be said for the vast majority of NBA players who came through MN over the past 7 years.
Is it all because of the contract... or are we simply too familiar with his game (and his flaws) after so many years watching him be "meh" for a "meh" club. In some ways, Wiggins faces the same thing. It's been 6 years for him.
