The wolves were missing four starters but I guess it's different because they're not on the team yet!

Hahaha. This made me chuckle

LOL. Love this.

Q12543 wrote:As infuriating as KAT can be on defense some nights, he was easily the most skilled player in the game that first half and it was sort of sad how huge the gap is between him and everyone else on his own team. With that being said, I can actually see the appeal of DLO to a degree. He's a bit of a flake and doesn't play good defense, but he actually has NBA-caliber skills. He's not going to brick multiple wide open 3's, look out of control dribbling to the hoop, or miss a wide open guy on the wing.

(still don't really want DLO, but I can appreciate where Rosas might be coming from).

I agree, Q. I was thinking the same thing at the game tonight. It's KAT and a bunch of scrubs. This team's situation really isn't that tough to figure out. When you have one all-star player and one decent role player (RoCo) playing with a bunch of scrubs you're going out be one of the bottom-half teams in the League.

Can't wait until he no longer plays for us. One of the laziest olympic-caliber athletes ever, if there ever was such a thing. Got caught out of position multiple times on defense that first half. May be Ryan has to throw a hissy fit at him again to motivate him. But that'll only work once in a blue moon, as eventually Wiggins will just tune him out like he tunes everyone out eventually.

I feel the same way. It was excruciating watching him tonight as it has been so many nights at Target Center. I want him gone by the February trade deadline. Just get him out of here.

I know we are sort of sick of watching Wiggins play basketball but he is by far our 2nd best player. I mean he did have an efficient 22 pts and 3 rebs tonight. Coming off 2 really great games. I am fine with getting rid of Wiggins but feel like the anger is getting misplaced here.

I don't think it is. I think the lack of talent here is a given and understood. Too many nights he's part of the problem.

Im not a big Wiggins guy but he is 1 of 10 NBA players putting up 22.6 pts 5.1 rebs 3.6 asts on 44% shooting.

I feel like we are so sick of him any little thing he does wrong is put under a microscope. He's having a hell of a season.

He's also the second least efficient of that group and has the fewest amount of win shares. He's a volume point scorer that doesn't do much else to help his team win. The Wolves have been so horrible at developing guards and wings that can shoot and score that they have no option but to give him tons of shot attempts. Occasionally, he'll have a stretch of games where you think he's turned the corner. But it never lasts.

This is why I'd be OK swapping him out for DLO. DLO is similar in some ways, but he's just less bad and plays a position defensively that isn't quite as critical as the wing. Unfortunately, I don't think the Warriors would be interested.
