This gave me a good laugh. You're not wrong. Imagine the team you play for trading a first-round pick for a guy to usurp your role in the rotation while he makes $17-million this year and next and you can't even lock down a multi-year deal at the minimum salary... but you're arguably a better player than him. Just brutal.

Oh, look, a Dave Joerger showing on the broadcast. That's a guy I'd be happy to have on Minnesota's bench. My shortlist would be Joerger, Kenny Atkinson, Jerry Stackhouse, and David Vanterpool.

We need to trade Ricky Rubio ASAP while at least a couple teams still think his subpar stats are because he hasn't been starting every game.

I believe Flip Saunders tried to pry him away from Memphis and was even going to give draft compensation to "acquire" him as head coach, but the Grizzlies blocked it. A year later he was fired and hired by the Sacramento Kings.
