Fun game to watch. The building seemed like it had a lot of energy. Nice win for the team and coach.

I know. Thibs would have won those games, right?

We'll never know. Once again I don't dislike Suanders. Was just blaming him like everyone was blaming thibs for every loss

Seems like a disingenous reason for blaming Ryan. You picked on my little brother so I'm going to pick on yours type of deal. There has to be better reasons than that. I mean, I guess if you're in middle school i can kind of understand it, but.............

DVR Recap (only the 2nd half):

- The Wolves are the best team in the NBA.

- Everybody knows Harden and Co. flop. A LOT. But it's almost more egregious what they get away with by having their small guys guard post players. Foul. Foul. Shove. Push. Foul. Foul. They know the officials aren't calling every foul.

- Teague was awesome.

- Okogie brings great energy.

- Towns is really good.

- Very nice win.

I was getting really annoyed about all the bashing thibs got. We were taking all the blame off the players and in my opinion coaching has little to do with team success (not saying it doesn't matter). Every single game people blamed thibs. I was told firing thibs was going to fix everything. Well it hasn't.

We are what we are, a 500ish team.

You really going to call me a middle schooler when you and Cam would get into fights almost every day back in the day. We all handle things badly then we get annoyed with takes, especially when it is fueled with losing and frustration. (I do this all the time).

In the end happy with the win. Great team win. Hopefully this is a springboard going forward.

I never heard anyone say firing Thibs was going to fix everything. Not sure where you picked up on that.

I've made mistakes on this forum, I've been irrational at times, I've called out people unnecessarily. But I still think I'm one of the most respected voices we have. I hope I'm not defined by a few silly squabbles.

I know I don't, I could care less if people get in fights on here, it happens, I was just making the point people don't handle things great when they get annoyed by things. I have been of the opinion that Thibs was fine, not great and not terrible. I was fine with him fired. Its all good. In the end we are pretty much having the same results with Saunders as coach as Thibs. I was just getting so frustrated with all the bashing of Thibs, that he was the only problem.

In the end Saunders has a lot better demeanor on the court and is willing to try things in games (what can be good and bad).

So in the end my frustrations got the best of me when we started losing. I was just mirroring what other people were posting about Thibs on to Suanders. In the end not the best way to handle things but whatever it is a message board and it helps me vent my frustrations with this average team.

So cheers Cool, hopefully we get on a big run and make the playoffs. WOOOO!

We are a damn good team when Teague is his best self, he is just not it enough for us to consistently hit our ceiling.

You point about Towns in the post about smaller guys is exactly why teams play smaller guys on him, they can get away with so much more in the post. Put a beating on Towns and throw in a flop or 2 and get Towns out of the game. Super annoying.

I don't think Okogie will ever be anything more than a role player but in small stints his energy is a positive for any NBA team and will be a net positive going forward for him.

Yes, we're pretty good when Teague plays like he did tonight. But he's proven to be far too inconsistent to rely on. He still dribbles too much, but not as much as he did under Thibs.

KAT gets beat up every game by big and small defenders. He doesn't get the calls other allstars get on either end. That has to change at some point.

My only disagreement with you is on Okogie. He's going to be very good. He has great athleticism, great energy, great competitiveness and freakishly long arms. Those attributes are a foundation for being a great player. His ballhandling is actually pretty good - much, much better than Wiggins. But what convinces me he'll be great are his instincts.

I hope you are right. Think he just has such a long ways to go offensively. I love that he is fearless, he is good at going full speed and dumping the ball off, also avoids charges a lot for how fast he goes.

I mean if he turns into Marcus Smart type player i'm not complaining. It is nice though to have a guy seem like he could have the tools to be legit good.

With Kat, I don't think it is that he doesn't get respect, I think it is just how the NBA is today. So much more contact allowed to bigs then Gaurds. But Kat is one of the few players it still makes sense to post up constantly because he can abuse guys. I just hope the beating he takes night in and night out doesn't add up later in his career because damn he is good
