It's clearly a coaching decision to not run through kat at the end of games.

Thibs did and now Saunders is doing the same. Instead of giving kat and wiggs reps, he wants to use his vets. Seems like the only thing Saunders dudnt learn from thibs is ther constant yelling on the sidelines.

Also players bitching about not getting a foul call with a minute left allowing a full court pass by jokic for an easy 2.

Ya. Saunders is a good dude don't get me wrong. But end of game sets have been trash. Also playing Cannon so many minutes in the 4th.

Well KAT was bad in the 4th late. He missed everything down the stretch including the FT. I still would rather he set the screen though and have Covington parked in a corner for an outlet if needed.

He had more hustle plays this game than all of last season combined.

Welp Saunders pretty much said that was the play. Wanted Bayless to get to the rim though. Bayless has been hitting jumpers but has struggled getting to the rim

Really didn't like the play at the end of the game. Towns, Rose, or Wig need to be involved in that crucial possession

Kat was a straight stud tonight but he has to stop his bitching about getting fouled. He seemed like he got distracted by the non calls in the 4th. Also on the Jokic full court pass his head was down and was walking back after complaining of a no call. (To be fair 4 of the 5 guys were walking back only Wiggins was hustling back)

If this is or will be kats team, the coaches need to reinforce it.

You can't expect players to beg for the ball.

You can't have kat not involved late in gane.
You can't have wiggs back to standing in the corner to floor space for our pgs.

I'd prefer Saunders to live and die by those 2 because they are here for the next 4 or 5 years. Instead choosing to run all your action late in games through guys that are only here this season sends the wrong message to kat. "We dont trust you".

After losing the ball with his terrible handles! +5 for the dive -9 for the crime of having atrocious handles

Removing the interim label from Saunders will be a mistake -- one that we will make fun of in the coming years. At least he seems more prone to hugs and kisses and keeps his volume level in check. I really like the guy, but he is outmatched and benefiting from the country club.
