Okogie and Vonleh were also super useful tonight off the bench. They made some very gritty plays during that stretch where Teague scored eight straight.

Very nice to see Wiggins make those shots! Loved seeing how happy his teammates were for him

Wiggs finally had a game where he took mostly 3s and shots in the paint.

Wiggins has been very good late in the games thus far this season. So I have to give credit for that. Still got to be better the rest of the game and not have to rely on scoring late to pull it out. I like that he is rebounding more as well. Again, see if it keeps up. Rebounding is all about effort which is why guys like Westbrook can get 10 a game on avg at 6 foot 2 or whatever he is.

3's, drive to the rim and run the break. Keep doing those and wig can have a positive impact on the game. Great seeing him win the game for us and his teammates reaction was awesome. They are really pulling for him to breakthrough.

I've always thought Wig has a little bit of the clutch gene. Maybe a psychiatrist could hypnotize him into thinking the game is constantly on the line. He slept through quarters 2 and 3.

The Good: The 1st quarter was awesome looked like a team on a mission. Vonleh sets nice picks, walls up and plays good help defense, I'd like to see him play some with Towns he's earned more playing time in my book. Teague provided a spark when we really needed it and it almost seemed contagious when Wiggins came in and decided to play up to his potential and close out the game.
The Bad: The rookie J. Culver is playing completely on draft pedigree and desire to develop as he looks like he hasn't adjusted to NBA speed of play yet and hasn't looked that great on defense either. I can see skills flash but he's lost on how to fit in and timid on both ends so far this season. He's a rookie so there is plenty of time to get things headed in the right direction but he hasn't earned his playing time so far, call me unimpressed after three games.
The Ugly: The 2nd quarter was a complete 180 compared to the 1st quarter success and we looked soft and showed little resistance and effort. Looked like we were trying to coast on the lead built up and weren't able to turn it around once things went sour.

Wait, so if you keep starters minutes down and utilize your bench effectively, you can still win?

How angry is jimmy butler right now?
Actually think he might be happy that the heat lost without him.

It might not be a bad idea to move Culver into the G league for a few weeks if we can afford too, just to bring his confidence up. Get him some more playing time with lesser opponents. We could probably get away with Graham, Wiggins, Layman and Okogie wing rotation.
